The bench went together well. It is designed to fold up and I think creates a weak point. There is definitely a hinge point and when the bar full of weights get placed on, it moves a bit inward. This is worrisome as the pin keeping this thing from folding in on you and slamming the weight down on your stomach does not lock in place very well. If it works its way out - you are in trouble. I am going to buy another bolt/washer/nut to put in place of this pin so I do not have to worry about being crushed.

Honestly, for the price, I wasn't expecting much. And reading the reviews concerning the instructions being unclear, I really had some reservations about ordering. However, when it arrived, in great shape I might add, I spread it out and started to put it together. I found the instructions quite understandable and the assembly went very easy. Once assembled I was very happy with the quality of the unit. True, it wasn't heavyweight like a professional unit, but I weight 265 pounds and yet it is very sturdy for my use. Price vs qualty, it is a proven winner on both accounts! I have used it for a number of weeks now and have no complaints.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This is the smallest machine in the world. It seriously looks like it was made for a 5 year old child. No one can use it! I am 5’3 and it’s a complete joke. The bench is super tiny, the leg extension is not usable do to size, even the flys and bench are worthless. I can’t believe I bought this. Waste of money!
