Impressionist Paintings: 6 Cards (Dover Postcards) Paperback – December 18, 2019

Some of the Dover postcard publications come out uncentered. This one came out perfectly well. The selection of the six postcards were perfect. Beautiful selection of paintings, but it's probably a bias review because I enjoy impressionism quite a bit.

Stocking stuffers for my grandchildren. Cute way to share images.

These have more white around the pictures than I was expecting, I guess due to making the proportions of the picture fit onto the postcards. Be aware that the picture won't fill up the entire postcard, and also that each postcard will have a perforated edge when you remove it from the book, which of course can be trimmed with scissors or a paper cutter. The back of each postcard is blank except for a brief description of the picture in the lower left corner.The pictures included are: Before the Rehearsal by Edgar Degas; The Bridge at Villeneuve-la-Garenne by Alfred Sisley; Girls at the Piano by Pierre-Auguste Renoir; Mother and Child Against a Green Background by Mary Cassat; Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear by Vincent van Gogh; and Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge by Claude Monet.
