Beautiful book I'd recommend for painters

If you like flowers in any shape or form you will enjoy this book. Lavishly illustrated throughout Flower explores the use of flowers in art,sculpture, basically any medium over the centuries. This is a book that you will want to pick up to look at the beautiful illustrations time and again.

Just what I was expecting

Admit it: you're that type of person who judges a book by its cover. Nice ones, though; beautiful and bright flowers, maybe with the little stem sticking out underneath the flower petals? I hear you. The world has some truly stunning botanical beauty for us to enjoy in "Flower." Explore in awe from A-Z varieties like cherry blossoms and roses as well as lesser known species such as lotus flowers or black narcissus. Took a chance buying without actually seeing the inside content, but I'm very impressed and look forward to reviewing and reading in detail. Illustrations are beautiful.

A very nicely laid out and interesting, enjoyable book with each page dedicated to a different piece of special art with flowers & blooms. The coffee table book is large and fairly heavy.
