Ghost Afraid of the Dark (Board Book)

My toddler is very much into Halloween, skeletons, and spooky stuff year round. This book was a great addition to our collection. He loved the glow in the dark cover (see photo). We love books that rhyme, and with this one, I incorporated different voices for each character (witch, Frankenstein, Dracula, werewolf, and mummy) which he thought was funny. I expected the story to end after he wasn’t afraid anymore but to my surprise it went on for several pages with him throwing a party. I hate it when kids books are too short (like only a handful of pages) so I was glad this had a good story. The board book is also bigger in size than most board books so this will last a while and was such a great deal!

Halloween-themed. Charming pictures and a story told in rhymes about a ghost who learns how to be brave and not be afraid of the dark. I would have given it four stars, except the packaging was horrible and the book arrived damaged. I had to send it back. Purchased it in a brick-and-mortar store instead.

Seriously who knew I’d love a kids book this much?!? It’s SO cute. Such an adorable story and the book itself is very sturdy! Also such a good price!

This book was just delivered 5 minutes ago, and when I went to open and read it with my toddler, the binding on the inside is broken. Half the pages fell out. Very disappointing when you pay full price for a book fulfilled by Amazon, and left me with a disappointed 3 year old.Overall the book is very cute, and great for kids who are interested in Halloween.

This halloween board book could not get anymore adorable!- from the illustrations, to the rhyming story it kept all the kids in our family so engaged. The story teaches a great message too about bravery which my husband and I both appreciated so much. I HIGHLY recommend.

My daughter recently started becoming afraid of the dark and we love reading this one together.

Got this for my kid as a response to their first fear based reaction to nighttime. It aids in letting little ones know the night is not filled with scary things and needs to be celebrated in its own special way. I just wish more than the cover glowed in the dark.

Super cute story. Beautiful illustrations. Definitely a favorite.

This is my two year olds new favourite book. The illustrations are charming and it reads flowingly. I highly recommend it!
