Great dinghy
I absolutely love this inflatable. And for the price , it's great. Looks very sturdy. Well built and easy to assemble. Be carful though. The transom is extra thick and I had to remove the back plate so my old 60's Mercury 9.8 hp outboard would fit.😁Then final got a chance to water test this gem! Even better than I thought !Tracks great at high speed.. maybe- 15 mph. And watch out.... It'll turn quick ! And of your not hanging on good, you could fall out.😁.Also was great with maximum weight.Had two full size adults, and three small children. But be careful. And don't overload the front, or you'll swamp the dinghy. Not that it would sink !!! You'll just get a lot wetter than expected.😏

Nice little boat, crappy storage "bag"
Took this out on the lake this weekend.Nice little boat. Fairly easy to air up. Transom was a bit too thick for my 3.5hp trolling motor. Had to remove the outside plastic plate so it would fit. Oars work well and appear to be well constructed. Material is of good quality and the rubber skid pads appear to be well made. All in all, I like it and should well on river trips too.My only real complaint is that the storage "bag" really, really sucks. The stitching for the straps is exceptionally weak and and one of the straps has already torn off with hardly any tension the first time using it. The carry straps are about to tear off as well. Seems silly that they can't handle the weight of the product it came with. Might be able to move it once or twice more before they fully tear off and then I'll have to use cargo straps on it.

Worth it!
This boat is amazing for solo fishing and for use as a shuttle. It's very stable and is great for getting in the water when the boat launch is packed. I have mine paired with a mercury 9.9.If your looking for something that you can launch from the beach or get into shallows for fishing this is worth every penny.

Boat in a bag!
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this cat last year and wanted to do a review after I have used it for a season. Overall, an awesome boat for the price. For something that can get you on the ocean or lake from a couple of bags is great. I do want to emphasize my “for the price” statement. This is no True Kit and the price reflects that. There are some quality control issues but so far, the cat raft does not leak air on runs and also when I recently kept it inflated for over a week in the garage.I am currently using a Sevylor automatic inflatable pump which makes the process fairly quick to get into the water. I always deflate after cleaning at the boat launch and store in the bag. If you plan on storing this way, you will need an aftermarket bag for it does not hold up very well. Mine now looks like swiss cheese and the straps have all ripped off of it. My only real complaint and thus omitting a star.I have paired the boat with a 82 Evinrude 9.9 hp outboard and this boat flies through the water. Could probably be faster if I installed a jack plate for the transom is very low profile as with everything else on this dinghy. I also installed the Suprod HD200 folding wheels that added a bit more weight to the boat but definitely worth it. When wheels are folded in the upright position they do peek over the top of the transom a bit but I can live with that. Whenever I take her on the harbor someone always comments on the style of it. Very cool boat.

Great boat
Great little boat. As other reviewers have said, don’t get too far forward or it will take on water. Our first launch, I pushed off and jumped onto the open deck and brought a lots of water with me. Best to use the pontoons for boarding. When we were working on it to get a Bimini attached and seats in, the deck would fold and like, break down the middle for and aft. My husband ordered a pressure gauge, and sure enough, we hadn’t inflated it enough. Deck is solid now.We attached a swivel boat seat to the thwarts, with the plate mounted to the thwart, but if you lean back, it really goes back too far. We had to make a pvc prop to keep the skinny thwart from dipping back too far. I ended up taking the forward thwart out and sprawling out on the deck. Makes for a great lounging/napping area.We bought an old 6hp evinrude with a very small gas tank. The only time we’ve had it out, it was very windy and choppy, and to get up on a plane, I had to lean forward to help the trim in order to plane. Could be the extreme chop, will try again on a flat day. To be fair, my hubby weighs 170 and I’m a big German woman of 200 pounds, so there’s that. It was a bit more wet than a normal zodiac with that much spray coming from the bow, but as I said, it was so rough that most boats would have been wet.We bought a harbor freight trailer for it for $300 and switched out the tongue for an 8 footer. Hubby built two skids out of 2x12’s and put rollers on the aft of the planks. With a $15 winch from amazon mounted to a spare tire carrier on the front, we winch it right up on the trailer.Overall, very happy with our budget boat. Will post pics when I get time.

first 2 months great
The first 2 months I was very happy with the boat - I use it as tender for my 42' catamaran. Then the thing started to lose air; First in the bottom, then in the pontoons. The seller was very responsive and kept saying it's the valves. I tightened, cleaned and did everything in my power to get the valves cleaned and tightened (there are no leaks to be found with the usual soap method), but one chamber maintains a very slow leak. The boat has never touched ground - it lives on my davits - nor seen any rough surface. The PVC is pristine. Alas it leaks! I would not recommend if you need the boat to stay inflated for more than one day. For day trips and if you deflate at end of day, they are lots of fun, lightweight and fast.
