Great modification!
This bridge is exactly as advertised. Rock solid, high mass, easily installed and adjusted. AND it made an immediate difference to the sound and feel of my Squire Jaguar Bass. I love this guitar but all of the Squires and most of the Fender basses seem to have a stamped steel bridge. It works but is not the quality that the rest of the guitar is. I used the original screws as the ones shipped are smaller. The strings fit perfectly through the block, no problems. Looks, feels and sounds great for about $40.

An Absolute Perfect Fit
I have a 5 year "Austin" branded copy of Fender Jazz bass. I cannot speak more highly of this bridge. The fit is perfect. It is incredibly well made, solid. Sound and sustain has improved (Hartke L500 setup). Intonation? Not a problem. Additionally, the groved ability to adjust string spacing is easy and it works. Originally string spacing was the Fender standard .75. I now have spacing micrometer measured and set at .7 and what a difference in speed of play. Yup, for me and my small hands, it makes play reach a little easier and quicker. When installing, make sure the strings are set into the bridge before tightening. Finally, the appearance is lightyears better than the original OEM look. Form, Fit, Function, and Value are all in alignment with this bridge.

Just what I wanted
I've wanted to replace the bridge on my MIM Fender Jazz Bass since I bought it...the Bass itself is very nice for the money except I was never happy with the bridge, the screws on the E saddle felt stripped and although it only collapsed on me once...it was on my mind... Anyway, I saw this bridge and for the money it looked great...solid Brass, high mass and full adjustability. When I received it, it looked and felt really nice. The holes lined up with the old bridge holes...it was Non-Magnetic ( I tested it with a magnet)...and the installation was a breeze. It made an already nice instrument, better. Now my MIM Jazz Bass can proudly sit next to the rest of my Basses ( all 11 of them). An Update: I am loving this bridge on my MIM Jazz Bass, it completely transformed how I feel about the instrument. I am surprised at how much of a positive effect it had on both the sound and feel of my Bass. I am very happy with this purchase.

Very Good!
I replaced my factory bridge with this one. The installation was easy. This bridge is larger and heavier than my original. The sustain is beautiful with my Fender Nylon Tape Wound Light strings. The quality of the sound of the strings has definitely improved. My Fender Squire, 4-string, Affinity Bass sounds better than ever! i am pleasantly surprised with the noticeable improvement of the overall sound of my bass. The small Allen Wrench that I received with this kit was too large. I already had a set and was able to find the right size. I made the bridge adjustments easily after that. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

Best upgrade for the $$
This bridge is a MAJOR upgrade for my 2021 Fender "P" bass. It improved sustain, and attack, and just dropped in place, with perfect alignment. I like the fact that it does not show the Ball ends of the strings, and the chrome on brass looks fantastic! I did not have to do anything to the bass, but intonate and adjust the saddles, to match the neck radius. Just make sure you thread the strings with the ball end horizontally =, or it will interfere with the intonation screw.

Design issues
The bridge looks great installed and the adjustable spacing on the saddles is fantastic. There are 2 design flaws: 1) the intonation screw for the G string is a little too short. It is only screwed about halfway into the saddle. It intonates and holds the saddle, but really should be a few mm longer like others have mentioned. 2) There is not enough clearance for the ball end of the strings, which make contact with the intonation screw in the back of the bridge. I used a file and filed off some of the edge of my string ball ends and they did fit better. But I shouldn’t have to do this. When I adjust intonation, I need to de-tune the string so I can push it out of the retaining hole, in order to be able to turn the intonation screw. I’m keeping it on the bass for now but will probably go with another bridge in the near future. CC

Full brass bridge-highly recommended
I am a guitar player of many years, always tinkering with sound. Recently got into playing bass guitar. Purchased a USA Fender Performer PJ bass, recently and I did not like the look of the vintage bridge. It looked cheap compared to the rest of the guitar. After looking at tons of products out there, I made the decision to purchase this bridge (made of brass rather than zinc of most heavy mass replacement bridges). The bridge is about double the weight compared to my vintage bridge. The installation was a breeze-all the screw holes matched perfectly, no problem setting the string height and intonation with the provided allen wrenches. The bridge looks nice, plus it tamed the brightness of the guitar which I did not particularly cared for (likely due to combination of maple neck, and steel vintage bridge). Highly recommended!!

Perfect
Swapped out the bridge on my Fender PJ with this two months ago and am pleased with it. Solid, hefty chunk of metal with good machining. A lot of the cheaper ones are actually two piece with poor machining. This is perfect in that it is cheaper than a Fender HI Mass or American deluxe style bridge, but just as good quality IMO. The simple old school spacing slots are easy and fast. The swap is a five minute job.
