Great idea for hands on maths, helping to make tricky concepts like angles a little more visual. The set comes with several disks each split into pieces and labelled by their angles. It helps in understanding how a circle must have 360, or a line 180 and how these can be made up differently.The set is small and compact so doesn’t take a lot of space but has everything you need, including an activity ideas booklet.I have seen these sets before in fractions, but not with angles, and it is a great maths resource to explore

I've only had it a short while and it's already proving popular with my home-schooled kids, ages 7 & 10.Although it's perhaps a bit basic for the 10 year-olds, the colourful, tactile nature of the sector pieces still appeals to both age groups. For the younger one, it's a good introduction to addition and subtraction of angles, fractions, terminology (acute, obtuse, sector, etc.), and geometry. The older ones found some interesting activities to do, such as working out the total number of possible combinations or permutations that can be used to make up 180 degrees. It's all just a bit more fun than using only a protractor and pencil, as I did when I was a child!It comes with a booklet with four activity ideas, but there's plenty more you can come up with (or look up online, probably). I've taken off one star as the pieces arrived stuck together with sticky labels that were rather messy to remove, due to an inappropriate choice of glue.

If you have a child who loves maths and numbers then this is the ideal sticking filler. My son loves anything to do with maths and was thrilled to see this and have a go with it.There is so much scope for learning in a fun way.

This is a nice set to introduce children to angles. The circles are all colour co-ordinated for ease of use. My daughter has had great fun piecing different combinations together to see what makes a whole circle. It makes learning fun!

I’ve used these to teach my 6 year old all about the basics of fractions. She understands the concept much better as she’s able to see the fractions and compare sizes. She can now see thet a half is the same as two quarters... and that 6/12th is also the same!The set comes assembled with stickers on the back. They peel off ok - just be careful. Lots of scope for learning ideas with this set. Really effective.

This does help with understanding the basics of fractions. We have a similar thing in wood, with linear fractions representation for comparison (and the circles), the wooden one has less fracted items but I find it slightly more useful as it shows different ways of how fractions work. But this is an excellent product to describe & understand circles. It also works very well with TickIt LED table top lamps.

Die Winkelkreise kamen zügig und in einer Zipptüte verpackt an. So kann man sie nach Gebrauch gut darin aufbewahren.Es sind 7 Kreise in verschiedenen Farben und Aufteilungen enthalten. Außerdem ein kleines Heft mit Erklärungen zu Winkeln und Fachbegriffen enthalten.Die Kreise sind aus stabilem Plastik.Alle Teile passen gut zusammen, so dass man aus verschiedenen Winkeln neue zusammen puzzeln kann.Für Kinder, die gerade Winkel, Kreise oder auch Bruchrechnung in der Schule haben ist das ein gutes Anschauungsmaterial.Die Mathematischen Berechnungen bildlich darzustellen und auch mal "in die Hand" nehmen zu können ist sehr hilfreich.Zu Zeiten von Home Schooling mehr denn je hilft es auch den Eltern dabei sich an diese Themen zu erinnern und es ihren Kindern erklären zu können.Also mein Sohn ist jetzt in dem richtigen Alter und beschäftigt sich gerne damit und das Arbeiten und Rechnen mit Winkeln macht ihm deutlich mehr Freude, daher von mir 5 Sterne.

¿¿¿¿ Como algo tan simple como este set nos puede ayudar tanto a que nuestros hijos entiendan los ángulos y todas las operaciones que se pueden hacer con ellos ????No hay nada mejor que algo visual para entender conceptos matemáticos, que para ellos rresultan tan abstractos.Learning Resources nos soluciona la vida ya que tiene multitud de "juegos" que nos ayudan a enseñar jugando, que creo que es la mejor manera que existe para que un niño aprenda.En este set tenemos 7 circulos de los colores del arcoiris que se dividen en ángulos de distintos tamaños para que veamos de una forma muy gráfica como sumarlos o restarlos, en cada porción viene serigrafiado el valor en grados de cada ángulo, esperemos que con el uso esta serigrafía no se borre.Nos llega en una bolsa tipo zip e incluye un manual con algunas nociones, pero bastante escueto, aunque entiendo que las nociones matemáticas ya las traemos del cole y podemos encontrar en internet todo un mundo sobre este tema.El juego es a partir de 8 años y realmente es a esa edad cuando empiezan a tratar este tema en el cole, pero como digo siempre ya depende de cada niño y del afán y la facilidad que tenga de aprender.En cuanto al precio creo que es adecuado a la calidad del material, lo importante es sacarle partido.

Manche müssen kämpfen, damit die einfachsten Dinge hängen bleiben. Bei einigen Sachen in Mathe hilft einfach nur Übung. Aber Winkel lassen sich einfach und spielerisch lernen 👍🏼 Die kleine Dame, die damit ihren Schulstoff lernen durfte, hat eigentlich gar keinen Spaß an Mathematik. Aber sie hat das Set mit viel Freude erkundet, fand es dann auch plötzlich ganz einfach Zusammenhänge zu erkennen und hat sich gefreut, dass sie einen Bereich der Mathematik doch so einfach verstehen kann 🙂FAZIT:Ein tolles Set, das den Kindern die Zusammenhänge visuell erklärt 👍🏼Ich hoffe, dass ich euch bei eurer Kaufentscheidung helfen konnte 😊

Mes enfants sont encore petits pour apprendre des fractions mais une fois qu’ils arrivent à l’âge ces cercles d’angles vont être top!Les couleurs distantes pour aider à distinguer chaque un, puis les enfants adorent apprendre avec les mains. C’est petit ça prends presque pas de place. Le plastique est d’une épaisseur parfaite pour les petits mains.Prix correct, je recommande!
