Space saving but needs improvement
This is a terrific option for those who don't want the bulk of a chest yet prefer not to keep their sterling settings in individual pouches (as I had been doing). Now I'm more likely to actually USE the sterling more regularly as it is far easier to access and put away. Why only four stars? Because the felt fabric flap top needs to be larger in order to really protect the sterling from tarnish. As it is, the flap is exactly the size of the tray, which means when it is draped on top it does not cover to the base. This prevents the sterling pieces from being fully protected from the air (which hastens tarnish). Far better to make the flap four inches or so wider on all sides so it drapes all the way down. I have remedied this by putting an additional, larger piece of felt over the entire thing, but next time I will instead consider purchasing one of the zipper-close models (like the Haggerty one) Hagerty 19111 Zippered Drawer Liner 12x19 instead.

Have this one and larger one, love them both
Perfect for my needs. I have 16 place 5 piece place settings. I already have another 12 place set of flatware on a larger Reed & Barton. Two of that size would not fit in my drawer. I got this one and with 8 pieces in each slot (could easily fit 12), I could store all my pieces in this except for 4 of my knives (this only fits 12). I had room left over in the top of my other storage liner to put the extra knives (since it held 24 knives). I butted the two units together creating another slot between the two units where I placed my serving pieces. My set is Spode with a very raised Asian design. They all fit perfectly (up to 12 pieces per slot). Worked out perfectly for me.

This is Great for a 12 piece flatware set!
I am pleased with the drawer liner pad except that the silverware slides around when you open and close the drawer. It does hold a 12 piece set, but I had steak knives, so I removed the felt from one of the wooden posts and shaved off about 1/2" then reglued the felt. It now holds the butter knives and the steak knives are in the knife slots at the back of the liner. I would like it better if I could keep the silverware from sliding around. Other than that I am very pleased.

Great for cutlery drawer + Dimensions
When we got married, we received some very nice Guy Degrenne cutlery, and we were at a loss as to how to store it in a drawer in our kitchen (we didn't want a chest), yet still have it organized in stacks so that the pieces didn't scratch each other. We didn't want one that was made to keep closed (like a zippered one), as we wanted easy access to our everyday cutlery. This drawer liner does a great job and has slots for 12 knives to be individually held by the blade above the other items. The silverware stacks nicely in the slots, which are wider than the narrow part of the neck of our pieces. If you are wondering about dimensions: 11 5/8" wide x 15" long x 2.5" highThe piece arrived promptly.

quality product
This product was exactly how I wanted and expected it to be. The unfortunate thing was it was too high for my buffet drawer and I couldn't slip it into place :( I was forced to initiate a return.

Good storage
I got these to put aside my mother and mother-in-laws silverplate for my two daughters. It holds a full service for 12 plus ample room for cocktail forks, butter knives and a few other pieces. They slide back into the plastic envelopes and cardboard shipping boxes very easily. So they are easy to store until I can get them to their new owners. Nice to be able to keep the silver in the family.

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
Years ago I gave up the idea of my silverware chest because it was bulky, heavy and it seemed I was moving it around to get to other things. I wanted something that would be similar to what I have in the kitchen - a divider to put each type of utensil away neatly but with the distinction of hindering tarnish at the same time....and fit into my buffet drawer. This fits like it was made for the drawer, it organizes the silverware without wrapping each group of spoons, knives etc into different pouches. It's much handier and exactly what I was looking for.

Ugly color but serviceable.
It barely fits into my china cabinet drawer - the pad is almost too deep. The brown color is ugly and maybe it could have been sturdier, but it works fine. I would have liked one more rectangular with additional slots for serving utensils and/or baby silverware. But it is what it says it is, so I didn't deduct stars for that.
