easy to install-no holes to drill
Easy to install, but needs more than the one magnet in the middle for extra support. There is no information on how to order extra magnets just like these. How well the magnets hold is dependent on how many coats of paint are on the door. Magnets need to be stronger because of this.

Total Junk
I bought these hoping to replace a pair with screw mounted brackets on my back door window. It was easy to hang up and the two side magnets worked great. However the center magnet for "extra support" was supposed to stick on with double sided foam tape. I applied the tape per the instructions and stuck all 3 magnets to the top of the door frame. About 15 minutes later, the adhesive on the center magnet came unstuck and when I opened the door to exit, the whole set of blinds fell on the floor and one of the blind slats broke. I tried applying hot glue to the sticky foam tape to get the center magnet to work but that didn't work either. These might work on a door that you never open but I opened the door 4 times over the course of 30 minutes and the blinds are already broken. I decided to keep the blinds instead of returning them. They lasted another month and a half before becoming completely useless. Now one of the magnetic brackets doesn't stick and the blinds fall off onto the floor every time I open/close the door their mounted on. Most of the slats are broken and the blinds are completely useless. These may work for a window but definitly not good for a door with a small window. If it wasn't too late to get my money back I would return them in a second.

Don’t buy these
My doors (2 sets)purchased 4 blinds. I have one stationary door at each set. The only thing that lasted in these is the header that fits inside magnetic cups on each end. They flip around and the entrance door blind fell down repeatedly, causing various slats to snap like the paper thin plastic it is. I’ve tried super glue, and other substances to try to support a ful length blind on this pitiful design. I have resorted to rotating the broken blinds to the door less used and using surgical tape to bind the broken slats together and that looks just lovely when the sun hits. I should have sent them all back when the first set fell the third time. But having spent too much moving and the stress, I sure didn’t want to pack anything else up. Just stay away from these blinds unless you are NEVER planning on opening the door and/or pulling the feeble string ti raise them so they can fall on your head.

Magnets are not strong enough
It’s a good thing I saved my magnet holders from a previous order from another company as the magnets holders do not hold. Blinds kept falling when I would attempt to raise them and one of the handles broke. Easy to install and they look great on my french doors. Stronger magnets would make this a great product.

Blinds for Door Window
These blinds are very much like a set I bought years ago. The new set is of lightweight plastic that also tears easily. Was disappointed in the strength of the magnetic brackets that hold the blinds in place. They have weaker magnets than the old set. So I'm using the old brackets. One should be gentle in pulling the cords to move the blinds up and down as the brackets will not hold the blinds in place if you use a firm jerk on the cords. I want my door window covered so I'll just gently move the blinds as little as possible.

weak magnets
I thought this blind would be perfect however the magnets were very weak and wouldn't hold the blind to the door. It fell off the door as soon as you tried to raise or lower the blind. Nice idea but the magnets need to be quite a bit stronger. I ended up using good old gray tape and it sticks to the door perfectly.

Good option for metal doors
These magnetic blinds are the perfect size for the metal french doors. However, the magnets work okay but need to be stronger. The top of the blind has to be held onto door if you want to pull the blind up all the way or it will pull off the door very easily.

Do not buy!!!!!! The magnets are too weak and customer service is rude and unhelpful
I purchased these shades from Collections Etc. to provide privacy for a windowed terrace door without having to drill or damage it. I received them in two days as promised. Installation instructions are somewhat vague but straightforward and I was able to install them pretty quickly. It took two or three tries to get them to stay level on the steel frame around the window because the magnets kept slipping but they finally held. The moment I pulled the cord to raise them, the shades immediately fell off of the door frame. Same thing happened after resetting them up a second time. I was resigned to just keeping the shades down all the way and simply tilting the slats when we wanted to view through the door and let sunlight in. No good there either because they fell after about fifteen minutes even though they were left alone, which you can see in the first photo. The second photo is from my front door which I tried them on just to check if it was possibly an issue with the metal on the terrace door but as you can see they fell of that door as well.Unless they changed the magnets in the product a few years ago, I'm very dubious of any of the five or four star reviews. The funny thing is even a few of them mention the need to either leave the shades down all the time or hold onto them whenever they raise or lower them. How is that acceptable for a product you then rate highly. On top of that, when I called customer service to simply request another center magnet to see if that might help, they were rude and refused to honor the 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed promise right there on the page. The shades, and Collections Etc, are pure rubbish and I'm mad at myself for not listening to the reviews that said the magnets were no good.

Great solution for a metal door window
It works perfectly for our metal door. Considering it is PVC and not unlike any other mini blind on the market, except how it is attached (3 strong magnets), it is a bit over priced IMO. But there isn’t much choice or alternatives so we bit the bullet. This came with three strong magnets: one for each end to hold the head rail and a third additional magnet that is installed on the head rail right at the pull cord to add extra securing strength. However, in testing it, if pulled hard, the whole unit will detach and fall off. But pulled gently with the slats open it stayed on. And for extra precaution I brace the top of the rail if I am adjusting the height / length. For the most part it will stay down for our purposes and we’ll just louvre the slats when needed. All in all, it suits our purpose perfectly without having to drill into the metal door or coming up with some home made glued adapters. It’s just a bit overpriced.

Should have read more reviews
Well...like some other people who reviewed this item, I find that the magnets are not as strong as I’d like them to be and when you pull the string to pull the blind up, you have to hold the top or the whole thing comes down. Also I’m finding that when I open the louvres on the blind, they close on their own. Unfortunately, I like the concept of not having to drill into the door and easy install, but when it comes to replacing this, I will opt for the drill kind.

Works well for what we needed for, however cheaper material
We wanted privacy through the glass of our front door while letting light in. This works fine for that. However the plastic used for each blind is quite cheap and has broken a few times, we had to move them around to keep all there. Top magnets work well, however, the bottom magnet does not hold well, and since we need to move these around, we don’t bother with the bottom end anymore.....

wont stay on door if you adjust the blinds
so first I am 8 days late returning these and no longer eligible - i bought these for home and for a residence out of town. with covid you would think 90 days would be more than fair. anyway. these look lovely and do the job - however, if you apply any kind of pressure on the blind itself to adjust it - it falls off the door on one side.
