NO MORE MAKE UP
[Long review] I have been sticking to the 10 steps Korean skin care routine for almost 12 years now. I did the whole cleanser, toners, serum, essence, lotion, eye cream, face cream, masks, SPF, you name it.. DAY AND NIGHT. Even if I'm dead tire, I dragged myself into the bathroom and finished the routine. I and many other women endlessly searching for the dewy glass skin that is so popular in Korea and here in the US. But thinking back those skins appeared on TV shows, Instagrams, celebrities posters, and tons of photoshop pictures of people on the internet. In reality, I have never meet a Korean woman with dewy glass skin before, even if I'm in a heavy populated Korean town. The best I ever saw was a few women with clear and porcelain skin, looking closer.. they still have some sort of make-up on. After realizing that, I quitted the whole thing and began to look into simpler routine with FEWER products that can achieve the SAME results. I no longer force my skin to behave the way I want but rather try to understand what my skin need and therefore adapt to it. Currently, I don't wear foundation, concealer, primer, highlighter or blushes…NOTHING. Yet my skin is glowing, healthy, and for some odd reason it looks beautiful under white fluorescence light, sunlight, and I no longer hide my face underneath make up. The picture I took has no phone filter and it's under white light. Now, I'm just sticking to double cleansing (thank goodness for DHC cleansing oil !! & any water base foaming cleanser). I stop using exfoliator so much after double cleansing.Toner - I live in a very windy and icy cold region. My face cracks and flakes like lizards. So I hydrate my skin a lot and this Hadalabo hyaluronic solution has 5 types of acids that aim to penetrates deep into multiple layers of epidermis and dermis. I used it while my FACE IS DAMP. Hyaluronic acid sucks moisture form the air if the environment is humid. In dry climate, keep the water or toner on after cleansing, it will absorb the water/toner instead of getting it from your face which will make you dry even more. I like the fact that hyaluronic acid is listed in the top 10 ingredients meaning it makes up the most in the product. I frowned when I bought the Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel with a huge label of hyaluronic acid on their box only to find it as the LAST ingredient which is the least amount. The whole bottle is plastic but it's not like hyaluronic acid needed to be in an anti-UV glass bottle so I didn't mind. I used Google Translate to read the Japanese on the bottle. After putting it on, I was waiting for my skin to retaliate - it will instantly turn red and intensely itchy if it doesn't agree with what I put on. So yay, no reaction. I used only 5 drops and it absorbs the rosewater toner on my face pretty fast, 1-2 min. Hyaluronic acid is like water in a water balloon, it plumps up the skin along with collagen, elastin, and tons of other enzymes and chemicals. Older skin has less hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin. I try to prevent wrinkles instead of fixing it and so far no wrinkles yet. I saw the methyl paraben at the bottom of the ingredient list. It is there to keep bacteria at bay. Since it's listed last, I'm not too worry about it. Glad to see Hydroxyethyl Urea on there since it keeps the skin hydrates and healthy.Moisturizer - The product helps my moisturizers get absorb quickly. It didn't feel like stuffs were just sitting on my face. As for moisturizers , I use anything with collagen in it, I also use retinol at night to increase cell turnover. No retinol during day time, especially with sunny days because your skin is really sensitive and the UVA/UVB will do damages thus backfiring the retinol. Heavy cream's job is to cover or shield the moisture so it can't escape. If I feel like it, I put rosehip oil or camellia oil on top to mega-seal everything. This explains why the better I take care of my skin at night, the better I look the next day.Sleep & eat properly - invisible damages to the largest organ of your body during day time will heal itself at night. I stop eating fried foods, sweets, and drink more water. That was all I did to help my obnoxious skin getting to where it is now. I hope this review helps and thanks for reading it.

Awesome for dry/sensitive/dehydrated skin
I have used the original version of hada labo for a long time, but this one is better for my skin type. It pumps and hydrates my skin much for than the original. The texture is thicker, more like a serum but not sticky at all. It's long lasting moisture and works well with other skincare and under makeup. No pilling and has no scent at all. Highly recommend.

Awesome hylaronic acid toner/serum!
At first I really disliked this product...it just didn't seem to have a place in my routine. It seemed too heavy and honestly, boring. Then it started getting cooler out and I also started a new Curology formulation with tretinoin. I intially used this at night only and now I use it twice a day, morning and night. I use a moisturizing toner, a light essence, a watery serum and then I use this (going from thinnest to thickest in consistency with products). This needs to be sealed in with something moisturizing or it can potentially dry out your skin (or get a little sticky). Hyaluronic acid can draw moisture from your skin if there's nothing else to draw from. It can get tacky feeling if you put too much on or forget to seal it in. I'm also noticing the longer I use this, the less that I'm needing now. This works as a great carrier for ampoules and oils (shout out to blogger Jude Chao (Fiddy Shades of Snail) for this awesome idea. I can really stretch out the life span of a small bottle of ampoule. And it works wonders on dry lips, when sealed in with lip balm - gotta love waking up to smooth lips. I first heard of this on the blog SkinCareAddiction because it contains urea, which helps with certain types of acne (specifically fungal acne). I did give it 4 stars because I don't like having to wait for shipping to get this!! Also, there a lot of hyaluronic acid products out there and it is only the 2nd one I've used. I will order it again but will also try out other HA products...great product overall, for quality & quantity. I do love it.
