I play rec hockey a couple times a week and prefer a very thin skate sock. I used these for the first time last night. These socks are ultra-thin but appear to be made of high quality fabric, they do not feel cheap at all. They are not compression socks, but they fit snug and stayed up on my calf the entire game. They do a great job wicking away moisture too, my feet never felt uncomfortable or wet. If your looking for a thin skate sock to give you a greater feel for your skate and the ice, I highly recommend this sock.Update: 02-02-19These have held up incredibly well. I recently ordered another pair, only because our new puppy got a hold of one of the socks and put a couple holes in it. Theses are very durable socks and should last a long time.

This is my second pair. These are nice and thin and stay up while I'm skiing unlike another brand which would bunch under my arch after a few runs. Only thing more I could ask would be an anti-microbial so they wouldn't stink so bad after a day of skiing.

I used these during a trip to Alaska and they were great. Not hot or heavy - but kept my shins and feet very warm. Easy to put on and take off. Didn't change the fit of my socks nor shoes. I'd definitely buy again.

Ten pairs of these kept my feet happy in the jungles of Belize for a month. I can't think of higher praise than that.

Not worth price paid

The Silver/White Liner offers an excellent fit and height for someone who needs a snug liner under knee-high wool socks. Fox River medium sized socks offer the perfect fit for a woman with an 8 or 8-1/2 shoe size. Extremely comfortable material and toe seam.
