Works Well, Easy to Install and set Parking Distance
I was able to install and calibrate two of these sensors in less than an hour. I found the instructions easy to follow (not always true for technical products.) The display is big enough to see clearly from far out into the driveway but is not big enough to be a nuisance in the garage. The display is only lighted when it detects something moving in front of the sensor. I did not try to operate this with battery power; I purchased two USB-A to USB-C cables along with a power adapter with USB-A ports that mounts to the power outlet on the back wall of the garage. I don't like to permanently install household items that constantly need new batteries. The photo is right after I installed the units. Once I've used them for a while and am certain that I like where they are located, I will hide the cables with cable tracks so that the installation looks professional.

Thay stand behind their product. Great Customer service.
Updated again on July 6, 2026 - Upping it up to 4 stars. Filed Warranty claim. They requested more info. I called and they were very apologetic for not responding more quickly. They sent me a replacement unit with a UPS tracking number within an hour of my call. Great customer service. Still knocking off one star for poor longevity of original unit, but they do stand behind their product. Updated to 1 Star on June 27, 2026. Worked for 4 months then failed. Original Review Works fine once you crack the secret USB code. Knocked off a star for two reasons. First, the white version works between 1' and 4', not 6" and 6' as the primary description says. I note that if you scroll all the way down to the product description AFTER you select the white color the last sentence of the product description is correct. The 4' would have worked for me, but when I plugged it into the USB cable and wall charger, it did not work. Tried different chargers, all 5V 3amp, and multiple cables, still did not work (and all charged my phone). Sent it back and ordered the black version, assuming it was actually the 6"-6' range, which it is and that worked a little better for me. USB port did not work. Figured two non-functioning USBs was unlikely and although it made no sense to me I scrounged around and found an old Apple USB A cube - 5V 1amp output just to give it a shot. That worked, unfortunately I didn't have a USB A to USB C cable longer than 12". The product description says that it works with a "Standard USB Cable". There is no such thing. There are USB A, B, C, Micro, Mini, maybe more. There is also no such thing as a Standard wall charger. Why it doesn't work with a 3amp charger makes sense to me, but it doesn't. Ordering the adapter for my longer C to C cable was no big geal, but the trip to Kohls for an unnecessary return was a nuisance that could have been resolved with one correct sentence in the description: "Works with USB C cable and 5 volt 1 amp charger".

USB Defective
I had one a few years ago and really liked it. Bought the new and improved one. Bought USB block and cord so I didn’t have to mess with batteries. Bought screws to mount it because the adhesive gives out after a while. Got it mounted, plugged it in and it didn’t work. The USB is defective as reported in other reviews. Works fine on batteries. Found a different one on Amazon which costs significantly less and comes with a USB charger and screws. I wouldn’t buy this one until they fix the improvements.

Takes the guesswork out of when to stop.
We bought this parking sensor aid for my 80 year old mother (who still is healthy and a good driver) to pull her car into the garage. The directions were clear to follow and we set it up in just one minute. The only problem you would have is if there isn't an outlet nearby to plug it in. It's not very big and doesn't take up much room but It lights up brightly and is very visible. The yellow light lets you know that you are near and when it turns red it is time to stop. We've had this item for a few months now and it works great. We were recommended this item from a family member who has had it for 2 years so it seems like it works for a long time and worth the money.

Convenient. Easy Install. 2 Months in, and going strong...
I was hesitant buying this after reading some reviews. But at the price, it was definitely worth the try. And, the price really is what makes this a good choice. I'm not sure how varied the products is going out, but my unit has worked great for going on 2 months now. I have been running on the supplied batteries the whole time. I'm going in and out at least twice a day. For the price, this beats almost all the options out there. PROS: What I like most about this over almost any other solution is that it doesn't rely on you hitting your parking spot at a consistent place -- like a laser on the dash, or some other spot. I can come in at almost any position and it's just going to register off the grill of my car. It doesn't require a tennis ball hanging from your garage ceiling, and doesn't leave parking blocks on the floor that get in the way. The position registration is consistent and repeatable. When I set it up, I wanted about 6 inches of gap between the bench at the back of my garage. I parked, pressed the button to set the distance, and it is spot on every time. It detects the vehicle about 4-5 ft away, and the goes to red almost exactly 6 inches away. I actually like that it's battery powered. I can undertsand if the battery was draining after a few weeks, or maybe a month. But for me, it's been going strong for almost two months now. If I have to change it every two months, that's not a problem. I'm also going to try with some rechargeables when it does finally go out. I would consider a plug in USB, but it's in a place I don't want wires coming in from. I'd also consider a USB bank, which I might also try. CONS: If you're working in the spot you park, it's going to go on and off. That might drain the battery, but I 3D printed a cover that goes over the sensor, and that stops it from happening. This is far better than having a tennis ball hitting your head, or floor stops you might trip over over and have to reposition. About the only other problem I've had is that the adhesive came off once, but that's because I have it on a narrow vertical rail on a shelf. But this is easily fixed with a screw plate, or zip ties. Overall, it's been about the best solution for me in my garage. Convenient. Easy Install.

Works Well, But With a Very Significant Flaw
It does what it claims to do. And that's great. The LED's are bright and visible. And the fact that you can connect a USB power source so you don't have to swap out batteries every couple of months is awesome. One of the selling points is the "walkway light", claiming to create a "well lit" walkway. This light gives almost no useful illumination. I mean, granted, you're not buying this thing for the light, but it's rather comically silly to claim this as "well lit". I'm not exaggerating when I say I think a candle would provide more light. But the real problem with this is the fixed cable length. The sensor is attached to the main unit by a short cable. Great if you've got a flat wall at the back of your garage. Not so great if you need to maneuver the sensor around existing obstacles. My garage has a workbench at the back. I'd like to mount the base unit on the wall, then run the sensor down along the side of the workbench and mount it on the front of the bench facing my car. Not easy when the cable can be measured in inches. So I'm stuck mounting the base unit on the side of the workbench in an inconvenient location (but where it can still be seen from my driver's seat) using an awkward combination of 3M Command strips, and invariably it falls off every couple of weeks. And it could all have been avoided by either using a modular cable of some sort (I would think they could figure out a way to connect the sensor to the base unit using a USB cable) or putting another few feet of cable in place. All in all, it works...sort of. If you've just got a flat wall at the back of your garage, this should work well enough. If you've got any sort of obstruction though, be prepared to do some creative thinking for how to make it fit.

Stop! Safe!
This unit does exactly as advertised. We are powering it from a old moble phone 5V mains power pack and it performs perfectly - Stop on RED and no more risk of collision with the garage wall. Highly recommended!
