This is a great brand! We only buy these for our unit! The air flows easily through the thick filter. It fits perfectly with our unit and is super easy to replace. I only have great things to say about this filter.

This one is a little more expensive than some of the others, but the quality makes up for that. Some of these filters need to be assembled. This one is super quick and easy to pop in the unit.

Had an AprilAire filter for the last 18 years. This filter works well. It works so well, I have to change it more frequently then recommended. I always write my installation date in silver sharpie so I know how long it's been since the last replacement.

Yes the price isn’t as nice as the other ones that are “recommended” but I have a loved one with COPD who uses Oxygen. I don’t think it’s an issue paying for the certified replacement filter. Especially the ease of replacing it combined with the length of use we receive using a certified replacement filter makes this a 100% worth it, especially noticing how my loved one continues to not get stuffed up or congested as much as without me Merv13 by April aire

My new house had this air filter which is the first time I have had a whole house filter that goes in the A/C unit. Every other house I have owned has always had the typical filter on a return air vent. Those were nice because they were definitely less expensive. I tried a different brand filter for my A/C unit, but it didn't fit correctly. This AprilAire fits perfectly as expected, and this is the best place to get them.

Excellent filtre

It is unfortunate that these are the type of filters that I have to use for my house because they are quite expensive compared to other filters/furnace systems. But aside from that, it is easy to install, and I guess does capture dirt very well, it's just quite expensive. My suggestion: if you see a reduced price, make sure to stock up that will last you a couple of years.
