These headlamps are terrific. Others I've had have been okay but until I got these I didn't realize how much better I was seeing. I bought them last year and use them for everything. People who have cataracts who have not yet had corrective surgery (and I am one) will find them helpful. (You still need cataract surgery - these are not the answer, just an aid to help) Last year I needed some work done on a ceiling fan and asked my super if he would do it. He had a headlamp which despite being charged was not very good. He kept futzing with his headlamp trying to position it so it would brighten the space he was trying to see. I told him to try this and handed him the second one I hadn't used yet. WELL! He couldn't stop saying how great they are and they helped him immensely lighting up the area he needed to work on. I gifted it to him and to this day he still thanks me - that's how good they are. These actually came fully charged. I have come to rely on it and won't be without it. They're lightweight and the band is adjustable and comfortable. I will say if there's a drawback its that it needs recharging and if your electricity ever goes out and you need it, that could be problematic. But if you're like me, you keep them charged, so it won't be a problem. There are other colors but I just stuck with the black. I'm not wearing them to coordinate with my sweatpants and oversized shirt. All in all, dependable, good price, and great light options. Love them.

I use these for working outside after sunset, walking the dog at night, electronic repairs, car repairs, and more! Even while sweating through a southern summer, the band and light holds up. There are many light options, including a red light. I constantly keep it angled at the lowest level which is perfect for walking and working on projects. Charge lasts a very long time and it charges very quickly. For example, 20 minutes of charging and I was set to work for many hours. So light weight I tend to forget it is there, which is awkward because it is lighting my way. I have dropped it a lot on concrete and it is holding up.

Well made and more than gets the job done for me. It has 6 different light modes and I only use 1 but those LED's are very bright! An added plus is the ability to recharge the unit via USB.

These are very good lights for the price. They came in fully charged and I haven’t had to charge them yet. They are not very heavy when you wear them and are very bright. Perfect for walking my dogs when it’s dark.

The motion sensing feature is handy, it can be turned on and off by swiping a hand in front of it. The light can be turned off with a long press. I found the other modes to be unnecessary. The light can be adjusted tilted down a bit. Great value

These are OUTSTANDING! In this set there are 2 rechargeable headlamps, 2 sets of instructions, & 2 charging cables. They come in INDIVIDUAL boxes that say HEADLAMP on them & each box is packed as a set (the headlamp, instructions, & charging cable). The boxes are nice looking enough that they could be used as gift giving, stocking stuffers, etc. They are a plain black with white writing on them. They tell what is in the box, but you could cover it with black markers, stickers, decorative tape, etc. & still be able to use the box for gift giving. This is our 2nd headlamp purchase, but our 1st rechargeable headlamp flashlights & they are PERFECT for our needs. Having to switch out batteries is a hassle; love the ease of plugging these headlamps into the chargers, & NOT having to bring extra batteries with. The light itself can be ANGLED to allow for better lighting on whatever you are trying to see. The charging capability is FABULOUS! It charges quickly & is ready for action again in no time. There are 4 BLUE INDICATOR lights on the side of the headlamp so there is NO guessing what the battery level is; the green indicator lights also let you know the status of charging. When all 4 green lights are lit, charging is complete. There are MULTIPLE light settings (brightest white single light, dimmed white single light, brightest white double light, dimmed white double light , double light red, blinking double light red, & off). There is also a "SHORTCUT" button with a little picture that looks like the wifi symbol, that you press ONCE for the brightest single white light or twice for the brightest double white light. You can use that SHORTCUT button when the headlamp is off or when you are using a different light setting to go back to the brightest single white light or the brightest double white light, without having to cycle through all of the settings. The headlamps have ADJUSTABLE straps, that are wide & comfy. They easily fit toddlers to adults (we have tried them on all size heads as we have a large family & when there is something new, everybody likes to try whatever it is out). They stay put & stay secure. I was a bit skeptical they would not be comfortable because there is no extra padding on the back of the headlamps, other than the headlamp strap, between your forehead & the flashlight, but the straps are more than enough padding & are COMFORTABLE. NO digging, rubbing, chaffing, etc. from the headlamps. Performance with these is SPECTACULAR! We have over 2 acres & I wear them when taking out or dragging in trash cans, checking on our chickens after dark in their coop, watching my kids run around our property in the dark, etc. They will also be very helpful to keep an eye on our dog outside when it is dark outside & nature calls. The kids LOVE wearing them after dark on the swings, to play flashlight tag, etc. Since they are rechargeable I don't mind the kids using them because I don't have to keep wasting batteries. They also keep the kids away from my handheld flashlights that are not rechargeable. WIN-WIN! The distance of these is GREAT... these light things up well enough for me to make out what is going on around me in the pitch black for a good 50 feet to 75 feet, depending upon where I am on our property. I can see clear down our long driveway to the trash cans when they are out front, & our driveway is at least 50-60 feet long. They are bright enough that I can see apples on our fruit trees in the pitch black, dark of night (at least 50-60 feet away)... VERY IMPRESSIVE! These headlamps are PERFECT when walking down the stairs in a power outage, with a baby/toddler in my arms, & not having to hold onto a flashlight & railing. I would really like to add more of these to our home as they serve so many purposes. My family really gets a lot of use out of these rechargeable headlamps & they really fit so many needs I did not even know existed, until we had them. Going into the chicken coop at night, without having to juggle a flashlight, feed scoop, etc. is SUPER HELPFUL.. & it allows me to check on the flock while they are on their roost & in one place... if you have ever tried to chase a chicken, you know how helpful this is! lol Attached is a video showing the light being cycled through, as well as the headlamp being used to light up a big closet that is approximately 8' X 10'. It does a great job. These headlamps get a SOLID 5 STARS from us. We HIGHLY recommend them & would love to purchase MORE of them.

For only ~$10 per headlamp, this is a wonderful affordable option for a lightweight backpacking headlamp. It gives you all you really need and it's very light. As a comparison to the leading ultralight backpacking headlamp, the Nitecore NU25 is ~$36, puts out 400 lumens, and weighs 1.75oz compared to this which puts out about 100 lumens and is 2.6oz. You really don't need much more than 100 lumens unless you are night hiking for a long-distance so this will do very well for a standard lightweight backpacking headlamp. I will point out that this product grossly false advertises the lumens. The specs list it at 1200 lumens. That's egregiously overstated. I compared it to several other flashlights and I estimate it's putting out about 100 lumens. That's more that 10x overstated in the specs!! Even though they are misrepresenting the lumens, I can't help but give this little guy a 5-star because it performed well for the price. It's lightweight, keeps a charge pretty well. Just adjust your expectations on the lumens!

The headlamps have helped me time and time again. Whether under the car or camping! The red light is really handy during night time walks at festivals. You'll be able to see the ground ahead of you without blinding oncoming foot traffic. Also the red light tends to attract less bugs. CHARGING QUIRKS. Some devices don't like being plugged into high-wattage USB-C power adapters. These headlamps are such an example. They lack the circuitry to negotiate a lower power draw when you use a USB-C-to-C cable and plug into say...a 65W brick. It's likely due to the emerging power standards at the time when these headlamps were first made. Or it was to save on costs. Rather than risk overloading the battery and circuit, the devices simply refuse to charge. The easiest way around this is to use a USB-A-to-C cable. USB-A ports typically have the necessary configuration (volts, amps, watts) to work with the headlamps. Find a USB-A port on a charger and generally you're set. It is possible to use a USB-C-to-C cable and charge the headlamps, but identifying a "low-power" USB-C power source can be tricky.

A relatively small and handy headlamp for mounting on the head when performing delicate repairs on electronic items or watches. The adjustable feature of intensity of the light is also very useful. And most importantly, it’s not heavy.
