This dress was the perfect choice for my Halloween gardening costume! It gave off a charming, earthy vibe that matched my character perfectly. Just a heads up: the fabric is a bit on the thinner side, so I'd recommend pairing it with light-colored undergarments to keep everything smooth and seamless. Having ordered two of these dresses in size small, I felt they were still bigger than I wanted for day wear. Wearing a size 6, the extra small is perfect. It fits like a regular dress (not oversized) and looks good with a belt. The size smalls, brown and white striped, I will wear for very casual occasions or use them as a sort of coat over another simple dress or pants or tights. Using one of the smalls for a light housecoat is another possibility. I think they are great!

Nice, basic, cotton button down dress. I ordered my regular size; the dress has a relaxed fit. The fabric is nice, medium weight, has a bit of texture. Seems like it'll be durable. The royal blue is pretty, a rich color. Appreciate that the dress has pockets. In contrast to some other reviewers, when I put the dress on, pockets are at thigh level. Also, this garment works as a duster. Did not like the look of the white buttons on the royal blue fabric. So I carefully painted the tops of the buttons with blue fingernail polish. (I covered the fabric under and near each button.) The buttons are now "hand painted." Time will tell if the polish holds up to washing (no idea if it will or won't). But, if it doesn't, hopefully it'd be easy to repaint the buttons. If not, I'd sew on blue buttons because white buttons are definitely a no go.Amazon requested ratings for sheerness and stretch. The royal blue dress is not sheer. According to the clothing label, the dress is 100% cotton (woven), but it has a slight amount of stretch.

I originally purchased this shirt dress in white and navy blue and absolutely love them! The only thing I don't like about the blue one is the buttons are white and the contrast against the Navy makes it look cheap so I'll be replacing those buttons. I wanted another one and really like this striped version feeling that it would be perfect for summer. I live in South florida. I don't know if I made a mistake and sized up or if I ordered the exact same size as the White and the blue but this one is significantly larger. I wanted it to be loose-fitting but not this big. Unfortunately I missed the return window and will keep it, hoping maybe it shrinks after a few washes if I put it in the dryer. Perfect for lounging around the house throwing on some sandals and going to a nice dinner on the beach or just running errands. You could really dress these up or down. The fabric is a cotton linen definitely not 100% linen but I do recommend.

Easy for breastfeeding and so comfy!

I ordered 3 of these, 2 in L (green and rust) and one in S (white). The white might have worked with the proper undergarments, except that you could see the pockets through the fabric. And even though I am a solid size 16 (38D with 45" hips), the S fit with a tailored but not tight look. I was swimming in the L and it was not flattering at all, even with a belt. The rust was more orange than I expected but not a bad color. The green was gorgeous.Fabric is fairly thick and seems to be higher quality than other similar dresses I've gotten in Amazon. Unfortunately, all three had the same white buttons that other reviewers complained of - they really do cheapen the look. I'm trying to decide whether or not to order a S in a darker color, knowing that I'm going to have to replace the buttons.It also looks more like you're wearing a night shirt than any of the other dresses I've gotten in this kind of a style, which is another reason I'm hesitating about whether to get again.

I ordered two of these shirt dresses in the largest size they had. They ought to have fit, but they were way too tight to wear. Was not happy with the flimsy material either. Sent back for refund.

Edit: wore this today, 1st time, with pink canvas slip on loafers (Amazon/dead on match!), a bit of jewelry, sleeves neatly rolled up a bit, and loved it! Shopping, very comfortable and looked fab enough for me. 4 stars still because of the buttons, otherwise...The fabric is good, the size is a perfect fit...roomy enough. Length, maybe a bit longer than mid calf which along with the side splits, make it look more like a house dress/night shirt. I bought one from a different mfg., longer, no side splits, but matching buttons...makes a big difference. They didn't have pale pink, so I gave this a go. I'll work with it or wear at home as it's quite comfy.Edit again: bought two more..!
