Taboo - the Game of Unspeakable Fun (2000 Edition)

This is a perfect game for adults. So much fun and not as easy as you think. We have game night every month that we can’t wait for!

Game is good. I have played Taboo with friends in the past and I have always liked it. Finally decided to purchase a set on my own. As I saw it from other friends in the past, the game set was no surprise to me. The only complaint is that the plastic box that is used to hold the cards seems a bit crappy and fragile; I hope I won't break it any time soon.I gotta give compliment to the shipping service. I ordered it 4 days before Christmas, and it wasn't a Christmas gift so I was okay with receiving it anytime. But the sender tried to ship it to me in time for Christmas and used a faster shipping method without charging me. That was very thoughtful! And it just so happened that it was shipped to my building on the day when the building was closed. I didn't get any notification from the carrier (UPS probably), but the sender emailed me to inform me and advised me to check how to get it re-delivered. The sender was very helpful throughout the process. Much appreciate it!

Taboo is just a wonderful game that I cannot recommend enough! For those who are uninitiated, in Taboo, you get a set of cards with one word that you're trying to describe. You also have a list of 5 associated words that you cannot say. So, you must get your team to guess your main word without saying any part of any of the words on the card. It's a great party game and a wonderful tool for those learning a new language!I've loved this game from the first time I played it. It's my favorite party/casual game and a great game to play with friends. I highly recommend picking up a copy to play with your friends and family!

I received a USED game! The box is old and taped with scotch tape on 3 sides. The battery compartment has OLD OLD batteries in it and they were corroded and spilling battery acid powder out of the back of the battery box. The powder was all over the game pieces.

Taboo is a classic party game that is fun for a group of friends. It is easy to learn and the rules are simple.Taboo works well for both groups that know each other well or don't know each other well as an early ice breaker. Setup is minimal and can be fun for everyone involved with very little "down time" for people to get bored.I highly recommend getting Taboo for your home as it can be easily pulled out and played for any short or long period of time as a time filler.

The game comes with 504 cards and each side has a word so 1008 words. This is alot of fun for my husbanf and i. There is a word on the top of each side of a card and you have 2 get the other person/people to try to say that word which is the "taboo" word but you have have five other words on the card that you cant say (which could give away the "taboo" word and nake guessing the word easy) love love love!!! Just sux thst the seller lamli distrobutors put like new and sold me a game missing cards and a broken buzzer.. over all i lovr this game and after a few months or so we can play again cuz remembering all the words is doubtful but if the same clues are used then its likely ull remember

This is such an entertaining game for the young (teens) and young at heart (everyone over teen years who likes to have a good time). I was introduced to it by my son and his fiance and was instantly taken by its simplicity and immense fun value. If you need a game for your next party, this is the one for you. It provides hours of laughter, fun, and good times in general. Don't be surprised if you and the other players have to take time out to recover from the hysterics you'll have as you watch each other play. Buy it and you won't be sorry!

Was introduced to this game a couple yrs back and been lovin it ever since. I went to 3 different stores and each one, the game was out stock! Everyone in my family love this game!
