Organic Brown Rice Spaghetti Pasta, 12 OZ

If you're gluten free, you know how hard it is to find really good pasta. If you don't eat corn or legumes, it's even harder to find. Jovial gluten free brown rice pasta is exceptional. I cook it for 1 minute longer than the package cook time suggests because it's still a bit too firm for my taste at that point. I love that these don't go from "too hard" to "instant mush" if you don't pull them at exactly the right time. And leftovers don't turn to mush in the fridge. Quality gluten free products aren't cheap, and this one is worth the price.

After my celiac disease diagnosis I was lost trying to substitute my favorite foods with gluten free versions. No cheating with celiac disease or you do more damage, so my diet choices sank tremendously. There are corn based gluten free pastas and brown rice based that I know of. Corn based pastas are ok but the rice based pastas are far superior. This brand is brown rice based so the texture, flavor, and durability are so close to wheat based pasta I cannot tell the difference. This pasta holds up even upon reheating, whereas the corn based I tried was dissolved upon reheating it as a leftover. That matters to people who love pasta as I do. All the variations of pasta by this brand have proven to be a superior gluten free version of pasta.

They make lots of assorted gluten-free pasta for people with siliac.(spelling?_)

A lot less sugar/carbs. Love the flavor. Hardly notice the difference between Jovial and plain white sugar/carb pasta . For sure a lot healthier .

Great flavor and texture. Never mushy. Terrible shipping though. Four boxes were shipped in an unprotected bag. All the boxes were crushed to a varying degree. Two were actually opened and the pasta was spilling out. They were quickly refunded however.

I love this gluten free alternative to spaghetti. I feels and tastes so much like regular spaghetti, that I can 't tell the difference! I will be reordering.

Our daughter has food allergies and is gluten intolerant for many years, way before it became a thing. She has tried many brands over the years and was not impressed with most of them. Normally, she uses the Lotus Foods Ramon from Costco. She says this is one of the best gluten free pastas she has had. The cook time is about the same as any pasta, and, if you pay attention when you search, the price is comparable to other gluten free pastas. The ingredients are just Organic brown rice flour and water She has had the different shapes, but we usually purchase the spaghetti.
