Buy it, no regrets, 20yr cabinetmaker's review
Bought this specifically for working on film sets or on site where space in the van is a premium but on site I need a full size quality workbench. It is very strong, surprisingly so for the build style of the components. Fold and unfold couldn't be simpler, no assembly required which is ideal for in and out jobs. Money wise I was sceptical but I whole heartedly do not regret the purchase. Its natural to think things are expensive but this is the tool for the job, no negatives. Owned for a while now, lots of jobs under its belt, no issues.

Wish I'd bought one years ago
Excellent piece of kit, wish I'd bought one years ago. I top it off with 2 * 1.2 * 0.6 18mm mdf boards, gives me a nice sold square table. When you're done, fold it up and store the tops away. Seems to be very strong and can be popped up and down in a matter of minutes. Handy bag with it to store and a 4 clamps and corner pieces. Ideal for people with limited space that need a table sometimes.

Very good, would buy another if needed.
No Issues at all. Easy to setup once you know how, lift the middle pieces and it unfolds/folds together. Forget all the 1 star reviews, they're mostly user error. This is the 4x6 which I read online through forums it was the best size to get for 8x4 sheets. Only gripe is the standard 30" tall one comes with clamps, cups and a bag. The tall version just comes as is with a shoulder strap.

Makes for a great storable MFT workbench when combined with the Bora worktop
Combined with the Bora MFT top, this makes a stable, easily stored, MFT workbench. The 36" height is ideal for my use, although a lower version is available. Because the Bora top is only available in one size (two feet by four feet) I think that the 2x4 Centipede is the best choice if you want to use the system as a portable and storable bench. To have to mount several tops onto a larger Centipede would be tiresome and would make it more difficult to erect the bench and to put it away (the 2x4 top is quite heavy and I expect that Bora do not make larger ones because they would be more difficult to manhandle). If I need to extend to support larger pieces then I'd buy a second 2x4 Centipede and top. My only criticism of the system is of the locking pegs, which I find to be a bit fiddly (see my review of the Bora worktop). For those who do not need the top then the larger Centipedes may work well for handling large sheet material but I think that it would be difficult to secure that material or to clamp a track in place and I prefer to cut large sheets on the floor with a rail square.

Clever idea.
Used in conjunction with other Bora accessories this is a really useful aid to cutting sheet wood materials.

Solid
Really happy with this centipede. Actually surprised just how solid it is once a panel is layed on top. (I just use my own piece of 18mm MDF to lay on top). There’s no wobble. And it was sat on artificial grass.

Excellent for breaking down 8x4 sheets
Excellent idea, very well made and works better than expected. This is perfect for a collapsible work surface to break down 8x4 sheets. and comes with its own storage bag and accessories.

I've only used this a few times since purchased but am very impressed and which I had discovered this sooner. I'm a lifelong home handyman and woodworker and have always had a small workshop. My newest work shop is larger than in the past but I still have space limitations. I also have several steps going into the shop so can't roll my large equipment (table and band saws) out to do larger projects. I found this Bora option and it's perfect for my use. It took a little practice to get it set up but when it's set, it's a solid as I need it to be. In the past, I was using a pair of saw horses but this is magnitudes better than that. I'm mainly using it the size sheet good and trim boards to size using a track saw. It's got the standard MFT dog hole spacing which I'm only just beginning to use. Has worked well with MFT style squares and triangles that I've tried so far. Even though the legs don't look very robust, after you get the top attached, it's a very solid set up. Using a combination of this table and some saw horses, it was solid enough for me to rip 12 ft long, 6/4 mahogany boards. I also use this on a flag stone surface so it's not exactly flat. I was worried after reading some reviews about that potentially affecting the stability. I've had to move mine around some to get the best fit but after I get it set right, there's no issues. I don't plan on using this for hand work such as planning or hand sawing, but do feel that the table would be rigid enough to support some side loading. If I try that, I'll update the review with the results. The MDF top seems solid and durable but time will tell. Also, probably an inexpensive way to try the MFT trend if that's an expensive rabbit hole you're considering. I really like the storage bag and how small it folds up. This was a great fit for my shop and hope to get a lot of use out of it. My only thought is that I may have been better off with the taller table. I'm 5'9" so this not too low, but when I use it with saw horses just seems lower than I would like.

Handige tool als je even snel een grootte tafel nodig hebt. Snel opgebouwd en afgebroken en neemt weinig plaats in bij transport.
