Women's Thickened Down Jacket Parka Hooded Long Puffer Coat for Winter

Lovely cosy coat thanks!

OK so I'm very fussy with coats.Ten years ago I saw my friend with a green parka and I mentioned I liked it. Next day she gave it to me. She'd bought it second hand and it was a famous French brand with a fleece lining. It was perfect. So warm and looked really good.Eventually the sleeves started fraying and the pockets tore but there was never a coat as good as this one so I continued to wear it. I didn't like the puffy jackets, I didn't like the sporty ones, I didn't like the fur hooded ones and no other parka coat looked as good. I bought coats on Amazon and returned them as they didn't look right, I spent hours in shops looking for a new coat but nothing was good enough.By this time, I was sick of parkas. I wanted something new and stylish and warm and longish and not a puffer jacket. Definitely not that... Reminds me waaaay too much of high school!This coat looked cool. I was a little hesitant because it looked like a puffer and I really didn't want that... Yet it had its own style.So I thought I'd try it. I bought the green one without the furry hood expecting that once again I'll be returning it. Carefully opened the packaging because I was most likely going to send it back like the other jackets... And when I tried it on, it was perfect. I loved it! Cosy, warm, lightweight, pockets, I like the style... I'm finally happy! I found my coat!

This jacket arrived SO quickly, I couldn’t believe it. I ordered it on Friday 3 Jan and was told the delivery date would be 3 Feb. Imagine my surprise when it arrived today!After reading the comments on Amazon about the sizing being too small, I ordered a size 3X. It isn’t too small at all. The sizing seems true to size but I had ordered two sizes larger to be on the safe side.The jacket in navy is absolutely GORGEOUS. The shiny orange lining and white “teddy bear”-like hood lining is FABULOUS.The jacket I received was well-made and I just fell in love with it even more. I didn’t even want to take it off!Sadly, I have to return it but I am hoping to have it replaced with an XL for a smarter look. As it is so cosy, I won’t want to wear thick jumpers underneath (or I’ll swelter) so a jacket closer in fit would be ideal.I will provide a further update once the Seller gets back to me and I receive my ideal size.UPDATE: My replacement jacket (down one size) arrived this morning and is AMAZING from the fit, colour, aesthetics to the warmth. The Seller made sure I didn’t have to wait too long and the replacement arrived on 15 Jan. Super fast!Definitely invest - it’s worth it. Looks great even on plus size women and is very well made. I’ll update again if all is not what it seems after I’ve worn it this winter.

It is a great parka.. it’s thick and comfortable.. has good insulating properties..but it has a weird smell like an unwashed rug.. even if i washed it and soaked it in fabric conditioner, the smell is still there..

I really liked the jacket. Few issues I had : double zip was getting stuck and not working properly and I ordered size M it seemed like XL I was drowning in it. The jacket looks really good though.

Beautiful coat, but sadly medium was too big for me and had to return it. Always wanted this coat and bought it because it was reduced quite a bit, it’s a shame theres no exchange policy for Amazon as it’s gone up in price again now. 🥲
