B2 Adjustable Shirred Front Shoulder Closure Post-Surgical Bra Black

Let me say it again for the folks in the back: in order for this bra to fit/work, you MUST measure yourself right before ordering and follow their sizing directions. You CANNOT buy your normal bra size - it will be way too tight in most cases. I had a breast reduction at the end of June and ordered this for my recovery bra rotation. I'm approximately a 34C after my reduction, but I ordered a 40 B/C in this bra because of my actual measurements that I took at the time I ordered (35" underbust, 40" overbust, I was still swollen a bit). That actually put me in the 40 AA/A category but I knew by the time I got this I wouldn't want super tight compression anymore so I sized up in the cup (if I had gotten this in time to use right after surgery, I probably would've gone with the AA/A). It fits great, is comfortable and has enough compression to keep things from moving around but not so much that it is uncomfortable on my still-tender incisions. The hook-and-eye closure on the front also has three columns so you can fit it looser or tighter on a given day depending on what feels best. It also doesn't show under clothes nearly as much as my zipper-front recovery bras. One other big benefit of this one for me over my other recovery bras is that the lower band DOESN'T ROLL. So many of my other recovery bras roll at the bottom band and it is so annoying - this one doesn't!

I recently had breast reconstructive surgery. I purchased several other types of recovery bras. This is by far is the best! The others were squashing me, and not conforming to the shape of my breasts. This bra fits perfectly and is holding the girls in place where they need to be during the healing process! I need the compression and this is snug enough to do the job yet comfortable at the same time. I really like the material too. The other ones I tried had cotton in them, which was too thick for my taste, and it seemed to make me hotter/sweaty underneath the dressing. I purchased several more of these! Very highly recommended. Thank you for making a bra that works for what it is supposed to!

Bought additional bras after my plastic surgery office provided me with one for my post op phase and I liked the way they fit. I attempted to purchase some other front clasp bras but returned them when they didnt offer the same amount of sizing fledibility that I needed during my post op phases. I was a B cup prior to my bilateral masectomy and after my fills I was more of a C cup so it adjusted well to my increasing size that I was still comfortable. My only complaint is that I have a longer torso and thus bought bra strap extenders to fit more comfortably.

This is exactly the bra my surgeon gave me after getting my implants out. I wanted an extra one to have on hand when I washed one I would have another ready. This is very comfortable. I didn’t want a regular bra for many, many months after my explant. I had rather large implants and my muscle had atrophy so it was important to keep the muscle closer to my chest wall for healing. This wasn’t too Restrictive. I could move easily in it. It wasn’t itchy. Very easy to get on and off to shower etc. HIGHLY recommend if you have explant surgery. Gives just the right amount of tension.

I had breast augmentation and a belt lipectomy and garments for my recovery were very important. I tried a total of 9 different recovery bras and while this bra was in my top four, the shirring on the front was not comfortable. My favorite is a Marena bra but not this one. I do wear this one, but it is not my favorite. Sizing is really important. Make sure to follow the guidelines for sizing! Some positives are that it is comfortable in all areas but the shirring. The shirring isn't necessarily uncomfortable, but I am able to feel it. I do like that the fabric has antimicrobial properties which is extremely important in my opinion. I tried bras in all price points and Marena is my favorite, just not necessarily this style.

This bra has worked great for a recent breast lift surgery. Very comfortable and washes up in the washing machine using a lingerie bag very well. Highly recommend and am considering purchasing another one as a back up while one is in the wash. I purchased the beige color.

This is one of the few post surgical bras I’ve tried that fits really well - the band doesn’t ride up when I sit down. Unfortunately I can’t stand to be in this bra for more than 15 minutes because whatever fabric they used to make this bra is unbearably itchy. It irritates my skin along the inside of the band and between my breasts and the itching it causes is positively maddening. Other reviewers have mentioned that this bra is really itchy and I wish I would have listened to those reviews because now I am stuck with a $100 bra that I can’t wear and can’t return (because it is not new and unworn). I have bought several other post op bras and none of the others itch. There is something in the way this Marena bra is made that causes it to irritate the skin. I bought this Marena bra from Amazon and I ordered another of the same bra directly from the manufacturer (Marena) and both have caused the same unbearable itching.

I splurged on this bra during the holidays bc I got surgery and I wanted something comfortable. I didn't think that within 5 weeks it would be pulling away from the seems and the clasps. I'm shocked and disappointed at the quality. It's really comfortable though and I wore it at night, alternating with another bra during the day. I can't say I would buy another though. I can't justify spending this much money on a bra that lasts just 5 weeks
