Use a waterproof marker.
I would have liked to have more larger labels. They are thin and a heavier paper would have been a little better.

I put them on plant label spikes and they work perfectly. The surface is slick so I suggest using a sharpie. They hold up in the rain. Dont bleed or smudge or run.
