Get a workout while you walk in FitFlop Women's Dash Ankle Boots This FitFlop boot is built with a patent-pending, triple-density Microwobbleboard™ midsole, developed by biomechanists at the Center for Human Performance at London South Bank University. Originally designed to activate leg and bottom muscles, studies show the FitFlop also offers excellent shock absorption and relief from underfoot pressure. Topped with a suede upper and decorative side buckle. The first FitFlop sandal was sold in 2007, after Dr. David Cook and Darren James (biomechanists at London South Bank University LSBU) collaborated with Marcia Kilgore (an entrepreneur and multi-tasking mum) to create the world ’s first muscle-activating flip flop. Built with simple sport y looking upper straps and an ergonomically engineered Microwobbleboard midsole, the concept was a phenomenal – and global – success. So when fans began to send feedback detailing how ‘fantastic’ FitFlop™ sandals made them feel (subsequent research at Salford University uncovered our Microwobbleboard technology had remarkable underfoot-pressure diffusing and shock attenuating properties), Kilgore decided to take this technology and weave it into a full, multi-occasion footwear collection. Now boasting two patent-pending technologies: Microwobbleboard and Biomimetix midsoles, FitFlop’s goal is to create fun, energizing, beautiful shoes that – when you wear them – make you feel like you’ve got the world at your feet.

Sweet Relief!
First let me say that I have about 15 pairs of FitFlps: thongs, sandals, clogs, and now boots. I have a Morton's neuroma on my right foot, and can no longer go barefoot, even indoors. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 - 9 shoe, but in open Fitflops, I wear a size 7. In the clogs I take an 8, and thought that would do for boots as well. I ordered the Crush Snow Boot in size 8, and this style in size 9 (that was the only size offered at that time, but I thought I would take a chance). FitFlop boots are notorious for being difficult to put on, and this wasn't my first try. The Crush Snow Boot has a taller shaft and I finally pried one onto my foot with the assist of a 2-foot long shoe horn. It fit fine, but I knew I couldn't rely on the shoe horn every time. The Dash boot has a shorter shaft, and I pried it on with a bit of difficulty but without the shoe horn. At first it seemed a bit big, but it didn't rub. Plus, I liked the seal brown color (the only color available) and loved the antique brass buckle. I kept these and returned the Dash Snow Boot. The following week we departed for vacation to Mount Rushmore. The day we visited the monument, I wore these boots. We were there over 5 hours, lots of trails, stairs, up and down and in and out. We did additional sightseeing later in the day.At the end of the day, I was exhausted, and every part of me ached. But not my feet! Thank you FitFlops!By the way, I purchased every pair from Amazon.

loved them but we had to part ways.
i loved these and the fitflop mukluk boots, well made, didn't aggravate my bunions. i'm a size 7.5 in running shoes and justin boots and a 7 in reef flip flops and the 7 in the Dash boot fit fine (a bit tight at first but stretched out so i could wear thick socks if i wanted to). however with the cold weather setting in (i live in the dakotas) i pretty much started wearing ONLY fitflop shoes and wearing them all day long (including long walks, just inside the house) and doing so actually gave me overtraining injuries. now whenever i try to wear any of my fitflop boots, my feet start to hurt, and soon after my knees, calves, and ankles. fitflops had always made my legs sore after a long day of wearing them, but wearing only them for footwear was a BIG mistake on my part. my justin gypsy boots (with spenco insoles) actually relieved the pain, but one wouldn't want to stand all day in those shoes either. rest, yoga and mixing up my footwear will solve my aching feet issues, i hope! :-) i won't be wearing fitflop for a good long while, if at all (i've got some sanuk shoes on the way! :-)oh, as to the difficulty of putting them on, they definitely take a bit of wiggling without a shoehorn. they really aren't that difficult to put on though. i usually could slide them on while standing up still.bottom line, they are awesome shoes, but don't wear ONLY fitflop brand or you might end up with problems like i. medical professions have always recommended switching up brands and styles of footwear, and now i see why.

Nice bootie
Loved the heighth of this bootie...very comfortable. .I'm a size 9- 9.5 in footwear and ordered the 9 in these...fit perfect..only disappointment was that the color was almost the same as the Bark color I have in the mukluk stay. ..I thought these would be more like a dark brown as per the photo but they are more a taupey grey..still a super nice color though so wasn't a deal breaker but maybe look at the mukluk style too to get a truer sense of the color. ..I'm not sure whether this was a mistake on the suppliers part and possibly I was sent the incorrect color. .I don't know..nonetheless a great little bootie

I love these boots!
These caught my eye and I decided to take a chance -- not only is it iffy buying shoes online but I am the world's pickiest shoe buyer. Comfort is as important as style. I have a small shoe wardrobe and tend to wear them into the ground, literally. I love the look and feel of these boots. Having never worn (or even heard of) FitFlop I did not know what to expect. I agree with others that they are a bit hard to pull on (opening the buckle does help) but once on they are so comfortable! I also did take others' advice and get a half size down, which is perfect. Now I'm looking for a good suede waterproofing spray so they will last as long as possible!

HARD TO GET ON IF YOU HAVE A HIGH INSTEP AND FLOPPY FEELING ONCE ON
I LOVE FitFlops flip flops and wanted these boots for a winter comfort option to relieve my plantar fasciitis year-round. The reviews were mixed but the price was good for a boot so I had to give them a try; however, the struggle to get them on was something I knew I would not have the patience for on a regular basis. I did loosen the buckle. I had hoped using a shoe horn might help, but it didn't. I never even put on the second one. When I walked around in the one, it felt loosey-goosey . . . perhaps like a flip flop feels and maybe for those who don't have a high instep and can put these on easily, that feeling is equitable to their summer comfort with FitFlops flip flops . . . guess I'll never know.
