I am impressed with the products Onewind puts out. Their silnylon rain poncho is amazing, small, and light. This gear hammock/pet hammock/hammock chair is simple, light, and affordable. I now have a dozen hammocks of various sizes, fabrics, and uses.This is perfect as a hammock chair that will easily fit in a fanny pack along with the rain poncho/tarp. For an afternoon hike, or a short-term emergency, these two items can really pack light and yet provide a lot of utility.This hammock is somewhat delicate as a hammock chair, but definitely holds the weight. And the price is just right. I have spent nights sleeping in hammock chairs (hint; make the lay of the hammock so the foot end lets you rest your feet on the ground; otherwise you get compression behind the legs). It is comfortable, safe, and even pleasant in the right conditions.

Does the job but still playing with it, have to rig my hammock higher because it was dragging on the ground and also compressing my under quilt.

We bought these as a storage solution for our travel trailer. The top folds down so we can't install more permanent storage, but we wanted to neater up the trailer. Installed them and they are the perfect solution. They are easily put up when we set up the trailer and keep the surfaces free of stuff. Storing this is sooo easy. It was an inspired fix.

This mini hammock pretty much does the job. Setup was easier than my actual OneWind hammock and it works perfectly as a day chair or as a way to keep my things off the ground. Helpful for when you get some unexpected rain.These guys really make products that are super light and impressive as far as price is concerned. Highly recommend if you like keeping your things dry and a bit further away from bugs as possible.

Beware that this is a GEAR hammock…not made for kids or small folks to use. You’re supposed to string this up under your regular sleeping hammock to place gear/bags in that you don’t want sitting on the ground. It does that. The orange color is nice & bright. I also got the blue one—very pretty, vibrant colors.

Replaced rope with better (longer) paracord and now I can sling this under my hammock to hold shoes, raingear, and whatever else I want easy access to. Super nice!

Personally I would have spent a few extra bucks for an option with a better suspension system. The cord is a bit short, too. But, if you hang it nice and low so your feet can rest on the ground, it is much more comfortable than sitting on a rock.

Als Gearhammock ist es ok. Die Aufhängung hat bei Nutzung als Stuhl auch meine 100kg bei einem kurzen Test ausgehalten, trotzdem würde ich sie auswechseln, es wirkt einfach nicht vertrauenserregend. Das Packmaß ist ungefähr wie eine Grapefruit. Gewicht 130g. Bei Austausch der Aufhängung ändern sich diese Werte natürlich. Aber: meine UL Hängematte mit stabiler Aufhängung wiegt knapp über 300g und ist nicht so viel größer im Packmaß, bietet aber ungemein mehr Komfort. Man kann sich in diese Matte zwar reinsetzen, aber ich find es nicht wirklich bequem. Ich wollte die Matte anstelle einer Sitzgelegenheit auf eine längere Radreise mitnehmen, sehe jetzt aber davon ab. Was nutzt ein kleines Packmaß und Gewicht, wenn man es doch nicht nutzt, weil unbequem. Aber wie gesagt, wenn man es zusätzlich zur Hängematte für seine Ausrüstung nutzen möchte, ist es durchaus brauchbar.
