What happens when the battery runs out of charge?
So, I did about 7k miles with this installed in my popup camper, and it worked just great. I like the MT50 meter also, even though I just stare at the bars and the smiling face. I use it inside my popup camper that goes on the back of the truck. The camper sat in my driveway for the past 2 months, and I've decided to vent it out. I turned the fridge, the vent and closed the shop for the night. What I forgot to do was to turn on the circuit brakers for the solar panels and the unit itself. Overnight, the battery discharged, and this morning the fire alarm begun to beep due to undervolt.Ok, no big deal, turn the breakers on. Still no power to the unit. Then I remembered that this thing needs 12v supply from the battery before it can operate. So, if your battery runs low, and you have no other means of providing 12v input, there's no way to power on the unit and thus recharge the battery using solar panels alone. Now, if I was camping in my popup, I would just flip the switch for the trailer connector and use the car's battery. This time I've plugged the on board converter into 120v power outlet and all was good.No idea what I would do if I were using this as an off-grid solution. Just something to keep in mind.

NO WARRANTY
I bought mine from Amazon February 24, 2020. It was in occasional use until it went dead on February 8, 2022. I searched in vain for the word "Warranty" in relation to the Epever company and it cannot be found. The website doesn't have any contact information, but still has a button for signing up (whatever that means). I thought that perhaps if I signed up and "logged in" there would be more content on the website, but the signup process doesn't work. The conclusion is that there is no support. The manual doesn't even have a troubleshooting choice for "no lights". Because of the inability to contact the company, or learn about a possible warranty, I'd have to say avoid this company's products. It had been my hope that there would be at least a 1-year warranty, after which I could have availed myself of my credit card's 1-year extended warranty feature. I will be leaving a similar comment on the videos which promote this company. Who knows, perhaps someone from the company will read this and contact me.
