Atlas of Brutalist Architecture

This book is huge, but incredibly well organized and concise. A must have for any brutalism fan and it would make a great gift!! Very good value for the price.

This is a huge, thick book with a ton of information. The front and back covers has a rasied-up and gritty feel that varies between the buildings. All of the pictures are in black and white, which doesn't bother me. Really neat book overall. Definitely worth the money.

Great book, great book, great book.

It shows a great many Brutalist structures and gives some information about them but there are at most one or two pictures of each building. I suppose you can look up more pictures on the net.

Fantastic selection of brutalist architecture from around the world. Unfortunately the pages usually pack two pictures to a page, and some pictures are not fully justified to the margins. Basically I feel it would benefit greatly from a size and format more similar to the the Tashen CCCP constructions book (bigger overall pages, and one picture to a page at least). Compared to the other Phaidon books I have, the quality of the pagestock is very good and I love the textured cover.

Arrived damaged

Muy bueno el compendio de arquitectura brutalista.

I love this book because of how it is organized, and because of the variety of buildings it mentions.

Good ratio of text and photos of brutalist modern architecture that characterized the twentieth century.

Heavy. Important feeling. The book designers...(there must be book designers) have done a brilliant job of making the feel of a book correspond to its subject. The cover is a work of art in itself. It makes me smile every time I pick it up... I love it.

El libro esta hecho sin duda con un gusto exquisito y con gran profusión de detalles. Quizás hecho de menos algunas fotografías con formato mas grande, pero es la mejor recopilacion de arquitectura brutalista que se puede encontrar en formato libro.
