This three pack arrived vacuum packed like mom used to do to veggies making them last longer. Problem is that so much air was removed from the package it compressed the foam and ruined these. Exposed to air they never decompressed and are still 1/4 inch high. They came new in the pack with no damage so hopefully the replacement I ordered doesn't arrive in the same condition.Update: the replacement order arrived vacuum packed and the sponges look destroyed a 1/4 inch high same as the first order. I got mad and decided to read reviews and someone mentioned these are sponges so soak them in water and they should return to normal size. I took one and placed it in a cup filled with water. Maybe 20 minutes and it grew to the expected size. So if you get these soak each in water as it’s a sponge and should grow up to the expected size. Why they don’t list this in the description I have no idea. I’m glad I read reviews that told me to do this. I’m disappointed I didn’t think to put this sponge in water to return to its expected shape. They work perfect. The item description should be rewritten for clowns like me who can’t think outside the box to put these in water to restore their shape.

Instructions:1. Cut open vacuum sealed package and remove applicators.2. Look at applicators and wonder why they’re not expanding.3. Begin freaking out that after 10 minutes they’re still not expanding.4. Read reviews and see that everyone is experiencing this, and realize that it’s foam and just running it under a faucet or soaking it in warm water will cause it to expand.5. Let it sit out for a couple hours or so to completely dry.6. Use it freely to apply your favorite dressing and enjoy.

Comes vacuum sealed and is squished beyond belief. After two hours they still have not come to shape to use. Totally worthlesss. Do not buy. Will be returning

Great product. Puts the dressing on smoothly.

Received them on the 16th. Took them out of a vacuum sealed package so expect for them to take a while to expand to full size. By a while, I mean it took me 4 full days of just letting them sit on the counter. So hope you don’t plan to use them right away for a quick touch up before a show or anything. In the pictures you can see the one to the far right still hasn’t expanded all the way. Even the ones that are “expanded” are malformed and odd shaped. Is it useable still? Probably. Is it highly inconvenient and slightly annoying? Definitely. Will just run to the auto parts store and get some next time. Don’t know how the quality will hold up, haven’t been able to use them yet……
