How hot does the inner liner make you when you run long distances or in the heat of summer? Any chaffing with the seams?

I live in the Houston, TX area so our outdoor temperature gets pretty hot. The iner shorts are a light fabric that allows your skin to breathe. The outter shorts are also of a lighter material. My daily run is 5 miles and these shorts work out great. I also wear these shorts indoors when I lift weights. Cheers, hope this helps.
