Truvativ 5D Square Taper Left Hand Crank Arm

I don’t know why bicycle crank arms are so snug. Anyways, this bad boy seems durable and the logo isn’t annoying. I accidentally dropped it on concrete and found it has a nice ring to it.

Works good. Appears to be a direct replacement. Had another Truative square taper that rounded out the shuare after letting teh bolt get loose once. This one fit the dsmae as the old.

Works great better-than-expected

This fit my Iron Horse mountain bike very well. Installation was straight forward and specifications were true to form. It is made from solid aluminum and is exactly what I needed to replace the old 175mm Left Arm which had stripped out. I also put loc-tite on there this time to insure a more secure fit which is why the previous one had stripped out (due to loosening and too much play in the square groove). Highly recommend this product if you have done your homework on your specifications!

perfect replacement.. be sure to torque properly or it won't stay on..torqued and used blue Loctite..

The crank arm fit fine but was used a very short period of time and failed. I need to replace it again. The hole at the bottom bracket failed. It was installed correctly and tight also. I don't recommend this product.

Works as it should

This crank arm is fine and works. Found out that TruVativ crank arms are not the same as Siminoa (sp) arms. The angle of the hole is not the same. Found this out after buying the wrong type.

This is true to size and fit perfectly on my truvativ square taper crank. Replacement was a breeze and shipping was weeks earlier than predicted.

Bought this to replace a left hand crank on a carrera subway 2 and although it's not identical to the one it's replaced it's as near as you'll get.Fits perfectly, is the same make as the previous one and feels the same as the old one if a little lighter in weight.As you can see in the pictures it's a good match, the previous one someone had obviously tried to screw a new pedal on not realising it has a reverse thread and damaged the threads beyond repair.So in conclusion a good replacement for a truativ isoflow crank arm.I'll update this review once I have ridden it for a while.

Bought to replace a bent arm on an old specialized hardrock pro, new for old. Fitted perfect over square taper and came with bolt which was handy as my old one had threaded. Came quicker than expected too.
