These worked Perfectly!!! A few years ago I tried fixing both our key fobs myself, and long story short: crazy glue worked, but TOO MUCH caused the buttons to no longer flex. I decided to see if we could just get an exact match to the buttons on Amazon and THIS IS PERFECT! We just swapped out the front buttons, kept the brand name backing and chip. They fit like a glove. The only thing I will warn about is if you test it out and the buttons don’t “click”, be sure to check if there’s not an added layer of metal they didn’t remove. Two of my buttons would not click and found there was an extra layer of disc and when it was removed VOILA, problem solved (see photos). I almost returned it because I thought it was broken, but removing the extra disc saved me from headache. These also saved us hundreds of dollars. We took the key fob to an official key replacement company and they quoted us over $300 for one fob. I only paid $30 for TWO and that included the one-day shipping. We are so happy. My husband is elated because it has all the key fob functionality again. We have a Ford Explorer 2015 and it’s perfect. Did I say perfect? Well, it is.

It was a very cheap item which should have told me something before I bought it. It is a piece of junk so I threw it away and went to the dealership for the remote.

my key was flipping out and locking/unlocking constantly. Took it apart and found the button was messed up, so I replaced the case with this and it works great.

worked perfectly, easy swap of internals. perfect fit. seems as well made as the factory Ford fob.We will see if it holds up over time.

Swapped internal parts, put it back together with a new battery, went to the car to test it out...worked like new.

This worked perfect for my 2013 Escape Titanium. I had a couple questions, one was it shows a different key blank than the Escape uses. You can use your old flat key blank it will fit the new case just fine. Secondly if your old rear half of your case is good then you don't have to transfer the metal battery contact. The original ford case and the new case halves are interchangeable. All I did was pop the new and old cases apart, removed the electronic board set it in the new front case, installed a new battery while open in the old rear case and snapped the old and new halves together. Installed the original emergency key in the case and I have a new looking fob that works great.

Don’t be deceived by the photos with this product containing the circuit board.

I am a very capable technician. This product did not match exactly. Had a strip of dots that did not line up without tearing out a little square on it and even then it did not work right. Ended up using the guts from my old one and not using the new soft buttons or the plastic strip ... no help to be found or video to explain. I'm back up with it but, should have a 1/2 refund!

Key chain is good quality, Original Ford backing fits into the new front. This works, because the old key fob inside discs that are beneath the Lock and Auto Start buttons came loose.The buttons click louder, which makes it a bit easier to hear when pushing the key fob buttons.The Ford backing is not as tight as I would like it to be, but not loose enough to be concerned.Overall - like a new remote

I did not like having to remove the +contact from the old fob to the new one.
