For price and usability, these Elevate LED Reflective Belt-RED-USB Rechargeable definitely earns 5 stars. I don't wear them around my waist because they are somewhat long. I bought two and use them like a chest harness.I'll update my review if necessary.

Highly visible while walking my dog and night. The charge seems to last forever. Easy to adjust and wear.

It was exactly what i need because I am a big man. these sizes are lacking in other products of this nature therefore I am led to believe that other businesses think that only the beautiful and perfect sized patrons are who are being catered to by the other businesses.

My husband and I have two large dogs which need a lot of exercise. With it being so rainy lately playing fetch in the back yard is an absolute nope unless I plan on wiping the dogs down for an hour to get all the mud off them, we looked into getting some light up gear because well, some people just plain suck at looking for pedestrians while driving. We have the knit caps that light up but all in all they have been more frustrating than they are worth. So we figured a “360” lighted waist belt that flashes would be far more ideal. This is not really 360.So it says LED reflective, I don’t think anything is really reflective about it our dogs collars shone better in the lights than this but the LED portion is really noticeable and bright. Bad part is it only on the front of back depending on which was you choose to face it.Being rechargeable has its benefits but at the same time battery operated for my preference is better. That way if it is dead I can just pop in new batteries and away I go, not have to wait for it to charge. Again, just my preference. There is no indicator telling you how much charge is in it.It does adjust rather easily and fit both my husband and I loosely. If you are small I don’t think you have an option to wear it around your waist, you would have to wear it as a sash.The construction is very durable and long lasting. The case covering the power mechanics is lightweight and solid. The little slide open port to charge the belt could use a longer tab to slide open. If you don’t have nails you have to resort to grabbing something from the kitchen to slide it. The strap itself is thick enough that if you wanted to design a pouch to put keys or phone in while running it would support it.All in all this is a decent belt but I don’t think I have found exactly what we are looking for. A side note though. I did give this to my husband to wear while doing late night shoveling help for a landscaping company and all the guys asked him where he had purchased it and how much more visible he was to the snow plow drivers. So it got recommended to the crews that day.Sadly it did not survive the cold. The red plastic type material that lights up cracked and broke. Not recommended for cold temperatures.I received this belt in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Shipping:My red USB Elevate LED Reflective Belt arrived today a day ahead of schedule. So, very quick turn around on delivery. The box came undamaged and the belt itself was in a sealed clear plastic bag. Within the clear plastic bag was a smaller clear plastic resealable bag containing the belt's USB - to - USB mini charging cable. I'm not sure why Amazon continues to package objects in such OVERSIZED boxes?? This is obviously nothing against the seller or item, but a continuing problem with Amazon shipments.Item:The belt is black and red, though the red is definitely on the orange side of the red spectrum. Not that this is a problem, I'm just commenting. Actually, when I look at the picture of the belt on the amazon item page, I'd say the color matches that of the belt in the picture pretty well. Regardless, the red is fairly bight and conspicuous, though not as bright as a neon yellow, green or orange. However, the belt looks better on the wearer than those neon colors.The light can be changed with a small button to go between three modes. The modes include a constant on mode, a fast strobe and a slower strobe mode. The light is surprisingly bright and can be seen fairly well from at least a few hundred feet away. This is pretty surprising! However, the lighted portion of the belt is only for one side of your body. The lighted portion of the belt is approximately 17 inches long and is about an inch wide (or high). I was expecting the lighted portion to wrap around my sides and toward the front a bit as well. In fact, the description says this provides 360 degree protection. I could see lights making the red non-lit portion light up (though not as much as a neon color), but I can;t imagine it does so too drastically. The item's description should be edited to make more clear the fact that the lit portion of the belt is only on about half of the belt.The description also mentions that this belt can be made "made virtually any size." Though the belt clearly cannot be made to fit virtually any size. Elsewhere in the description the seller mentions that the belt can only range from 31 in to 48 in. This seems likely more accurate. I am a skinny guy (waist of about 32in) and I really had to tighten this thing to get it to fit on me. The belt, therefore is not 'one-size-fits-all', but 'one-size-fits-most'. The belt can change size using two loops (one on either side of the main clip). Because there are two loops, I guess you have better control of adjusting the belt. However, the loops are not easy to move (at least on my unit) and therefore having two of them to adjust is that much more time consuming. The one side of the belt is elastic while the other is more rigid and not stretchable. The light lies between the two halves opposite of the buckle.The materials are stated as being of high quality ("very well constructed belt made with quality in mind."). Though I'd say it's not the best quality thing I've ever seen, I have no reason to doubt that the actual quality of this belt will ever be an issue (time will tell with the plastic buckle). The lit portion is more rigid than the rest of the belt and therefore does not fit as tightly around your body. However, this seems to be reduced the tighter you make the rest of the belt, and I'm sure this will improve after the belt is 'broken-in' a bit more.I will try to update this post after I sue the belt more in order to comment on the battery life of the belt.Overall:-Belt light is surprisingly bright! and the 3 light modes are a nice feature.-The light only goes around 1/2 of the belt-The belt is difficult to adjust and is 'one-size-fits-most' (Won't fit kids).I received this item for a discount in exchange for my honest review.
