3M CLAW Heavyweight Hanging Solution: 4 Hangers & 4 Spot Markers

I have used these previously and when I was decorating my new place I knew I was going to get these. They work extremely well and are easy to install. They leave snake bites in the drywall, but that is better than a massive hole from a screw in my opinion.

I used the 45 lb 3M Claw to hang a round mirror in my bedroom and it worked great. It feels very secure and hasn’t moved at all. I will say, I couldn’t push it in with just my thumb like the package suggests — I did have to tap it in gently with a hammer — but it still went in easily and was much simpler than using anchors or finding a stud. Overall, I’d definitely buy these again. Package came with 4 which is a great value in my opinion.

These 3M claw has been a game changer to hanging stuff! It beats any dry wall anchors, and require very little skill. My only complaint is that sometimes the anchor point is too short to hang some of the picture frames with flush mounts, but I fixed this with a screw driver to slightly pry it out a bit.

I got tired of making large holes in the drywall over and over. They are easy to use. I had to remove one of the claws from the drywall and I could remove with my fingers. It left behind thin small holes that are barely visible.

These are powerful, but a little modification to the directions was needed for me. I had 2 mirrors (one that is 18lbs, the other 25lbs.) that I was hanging on newly painted and wallpapered walls. I was unable to push them into the walls like the directions said. I ended up having to drill holes and then hammer these in (drywall and wood paneling, as it’s a 1950s home). Although the installation process was more involved than I thought, these have held steady. I used 2, 45lb. capacity on each mirror to make sure they were secure. I still feel the installation process was easy to make my final product look great. Would get again!

I bought some very heavy art that is made of olive wood and metal. The art is in 3 pieces and each piece is close to 50 pounds and needs to be spaced an inch apart. I purchased several different heavy duty picture hangers as I anticipated that it would be a chore to hang the art evenly. I must say, the 3M Claw is by far the flattest against the wall compared to all other competitors that I tried. The hangers were easy to install, they are plenty strong, and will hold the weight as advertised. I like how they fit so close to the wall and they look great. The only downside I see using these hangers are that they are taller/longer than most other hangers I have used, probably by design to hold the weight. So, the tops look like they can poke out above other art that I have and might not be hidden.

These worked amazing hanging a super large mirror super easy to install too. I was nervous if they would hold but 3 months later, no issues!

Where have you been all my life?! This is the easiest, least damaging product! I wish they made little, tiny ones for lightweight art, too. I have textured walls. Easily hung 2 mirrors by myself. Nothing’s crashed yet!

3M claws really easy to install although the rubber markers are a struggle to put in place as markers.

Easy to fix to the wall, strong and very useful.

I have had a heavy mirror attached to my wall with heavy duty 3M picture hanging strips. It lasted at least a few years, until the mirror came crashing down - amazingly not breaking, just denting a corner of the frame. These 3M drywall anchors are actually very easy to use. The adhesive guides that came with it didn't work for me. I hung it up by myself, and had a hard time getting the guides to stick on the wall after I pulled the frame away - I needed a third hand. Like other reviews have said, I couldn't get it in the wall with my thumb, though I had to try. I used a rubber mallet to reduce risk of denting the metal. As you can see from the picture, there is a very small part of the hook visible, but worth it to have something heavy hanging securely. I appreciate the ease of use, and the minimal damage to the wall when or if we need to remove it. The frame has been back up since June 25, and feels quite secure. I have a lot of faith in 3M's products... So I would be surprised if this one doesn't work!
