These are used by my 4 and 5-year-olds. Other kids walkies we tried were too complicated and/or I couldn't turn off the sound on some of the features. You can control the sound of each feature. I also like that the channels have extra security so we know we're the only ones chatting. They are durable and have pretty good battery life. Happy for what we paid for them. The kids like the lamp feature but wish they didn't have to hold the button down to keep the light on. I disagree as it means that they can't leave them lying around with the light on, sucking all the battery down. But we can agree to disagree on that!

I bought a walkie-talkie for my 6-year-old daughter. This is the reward I gave her for her recent performance. When I bought them, I thought "how cute!" I want them to work well around her house and don't think they can work from a distance. I recently discovered that she gave a best friend, who lived a few blocks, and they have been chatting! They are really good. She loves them!

I didn't have the walkie-talkies in my hand more than 30 minutes from the time they were delivered till I pick them up to put batteries in to make sure they worked before Christmas so that when I gave them to my grandson's they could play with them on Christmas and the red ones clip was broke off in the bag ?? Other than that they were very nice ?

The set of walkie-talkies uses AAA batteries and are not rechargeable. I purchased these for my 11-year-old son to play with his friend in our apartment complex and they work great for that not sure how they work over long distances. We’ve had them for several months now and they’re still going strong.

Bought 2 sets for my nephews. They were a big hit and they played with them all night. They set the same channels so they could use all four to communicate and play. Very happy!

Well the first ones I received i gave my granddaughters in their Christmas stocking they worked for a wonderful 15 mins til the one wouldn't receive from the other. So I sent back and received the second pair very quickly which I gave to their dad who is very good with technology just incase same thing happened well my daughter said they had a blast with them one whole day. Then again same problem dont buy these wast of your dollar.

Got these for the kids to use while playing in the neighborhood. They were smaller than I realized they would be, which is fine. It makes it easy for them to fit or attach to the kids’ pockets without being cumbersome. They work great and our kids are able to communicate with us wherever they are within our neighborhood (which about a 2mi radius).
