I ended up purchasing this leash to replace a similar leash, but had a different clasp. The other clasp worked like a spring loaded clip, which is fine, unless you have more than 1 collar on. I’m sure you’re asking why would I have more than 1 collar on, I use a prong collar when walking my 1-year old Beale and it really helps to keep him from pulling so much. I always tether the prong collar to his everyday collar in the event the prong collar comes apart accidentally (which has happened twice in 4-months), this is where the problem is, when I pulled on the leash the clasp would latch on to the other collar or even the additional slack on the prong collar creating quite an issue. This clasp has a pull-down release and cannot accidentally get locked into anything else but the collar you have it connected to. I would highly recommend if you are training, the walking handle is easily accessible and really comes in handy during training or crossing the street.

Update !!!!! 09/02/2022 I NEEDED TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM AND IT WAS HANDLED QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY.I bought on 6/29/22 it’s NOW 8/30/22 About two months !!! And the clip is coming undone and allowing my dog loose !!!I have contacted about the warranty… I will update if they respond !!!My dog is a very scared type of dog and a previous leash I purchased had a bad clip. He got away but I was able to catch him.Anyhow, the clasp on this leash is nice and strong. I make a habit of checking it frequently.The leash itself is a nice weight , but not so heavy that it’s a slog to handle. I love the lower handle , it’s perfectly placed to quickly grab when you want your dog closer.Here are a few things I like about this leash :* Nice strong clasp , feels very secure.* The weight of the leash is perfect. It’s not flimsy nor heavy and bulky.* The lower handle is perfectly placed!* The neoprene lining on the handles is nice and soft , feels great in the hand and not slippery. KEEP. LEASH PUT UP WHEN NOT USING MY DOG FOUND THE LINING TASTY.* I got the lime green ( my dogs color is green , he gets all his items in green ) it’s bright and highly visible !* There a nice sturdy ring near the top handle to clip your waste bag holder to.I’m really pleased with this leash and I look forward to using it.

Most comfortable leash I have owned. I plan to buy 2 more for our other dogs, the handle closest to dog collar to "short leash" your dog is usually too small in length for someone 6 ft and taller, my husband is 6'2 and this leash is best fitted for him, perfect for me 5'6 to use the handle. The padded handles on this leash is my favorite part! We have 3 large dogs.

Working on training a dog that is strong and pulls a lot!!! This has saved my hand from being sore and I love the double handle feature as well as the d ring so I can clip that leash to a longer leash to tie her outside while I do barn work. Extremely pleased with this product.

I purchased this leash for my dog for longer walks - this is secondary to an extendable leash. The second handle is nice when i need to hold him closer to me and fix the leash. The color matches his color too. I would highly recommend to anyone - and this is for a large dog as he is about 110 pounds and knows this leash means more than a stroll around the yard!

This leash is perfect for my needs. I need to have a short leash for stability while walking (I have mobility issues). Once to a location where I can stand or sit, I let out the longer portion of the leash so my dog can go sniff to find the perfect place to do his business. The long leash handle goes around my wrist like you would with a trekking pole; hand up through the loop, then down to grab the shorter leash handle (trekking pole handle in the case of trekking pole). Up, then down.Extremely happy with the handle cushioning, leash material softness, bright color, and visibility of reflective threads. Perfect leash.

The handle close to the dog is great for keeping close control without being bent over. Only minor problem is our lab sometimes steps on the handle if we are holding the end grip. Ring under the grip is great for holding a flashlight or clean up bags. The foam grips are very comfortable and make it easy to hold the leash even with the dog pulling. The leash has a little give which also helps with pulling. Foam grips also float which helps when she runs in the water for a swim.

This leash is very well made and the looks of it are wonderful. The handle is very padded and soft. The 2nd handle towards the bottom of the leash truly comes in handy. It is very easy to grab and using the 2nd lower handle, it is easy to guide her dog in a certain direction or to have him/her stop.I've had Two Belgians in the past (Tervuren and a Malinois) and this would have been ideal for them.I'm currently using this leash on a rescue Belgian/German Shepard mix, and there has been zero issues and darn does she seem to like the leash.Honestly worth every penny.

So good I bought another one for my other puppy. Great reflector stitching and always have comments on how good they look. Clip is a little heavy for smaller dogs, handle grip is soft and padded although one lead has rough edges on one part which always catches my hand (glue or stitching). The longer length means dogs aren’t always pulling when in front of you and allows them more freedom but you still have control. Machine washable as they get dirty if left to drag on the floor.

Great lead, currently using for my very excitable small dog ( would be good for a big dog too) who for the first ten minutes pulls constantly. With this lead there is more control to keep him next to me and also not having the lead hurting my hand is a bonus. I can hold both handles and have better control.

Just what I wanted brilliant lead really easy to hold and very comfortable.

Excellent quality and love the option for short handle for close control when needed

Didn't last long for us this one, our dog managed to chew through it.
