I’m very pleased with the performance of these boxes. Like a lot of people, I need to hide my files since I do not have a file cabinet. These boxes are good and sturdy. The rods inside hold the files in such a way where they are hidden when you put the top on. I like that there’s a place for labels. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and this looked to be the best. Mine are single height and stored in a bookcase. I do not know if they can be double stacked. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I need something to organize and repack in my office. Glad to find this product. The file box is worth every penny! I really enjoy the good look- - canvas/linen and I find it is wood material wallboard is very sturdy.Can't foresee the future but from my first impression I expect this box to last many years.I viewed the review and many buyers said the box is very strong ,and used for both letter size and legal size hanging folders. Arrived in perfect condition and were put to use immediately, this file box suits all my needs. Helps me keep documents organized. No matter letter size or legal size folders and the storage box can hold a lot, just enough to lift comfortably for me.A great value for a very nice and well made product! Would buy, again.

Still hoping to provide an update when we’ve had them for a while; so far, so good!************************ORIGINAL POSTThe boxes appear to be quite nice; I wasn’t sure whether they would be very sturdy, but they do seem quite solid considering their weight and material. I’ll have kiddos using them, so I’ll try to update in a few months as to how well they hold up!I was, however, very disappointed upon opening the package, as 3 of the 4 inserts were damaged by the metals rods during (or before?) shipping (the shipping box was undamaged, and I haven’t seen damage on any other items). I don’t see any way to contact the seller to request replacement inserts, or I’d just do that rather than include it in this review. Packaging things such that they travel well is important to me, so I’m taking away stars for that. If I’m able to resolve at some point, I’ll update this review.

I was transferring a bunch of file folders to a friend and I did not want to give him the two draw Wooden file chest I had so I purchased two of these. I think they are 1st class. One of them ended up close to full, and heavy. They are strong when assembled, so simple that no instructions are needed. My friend was impressed with them also when I handed over the files. I've always had a metal, two-drawer file cabinet, but in the past few years I ended up scanning a bunch of our files and no longer need so much space. Combined with a recent reconfiguration of our office space, I no longer wanted the relatively large and not so aesthetically pleasing file cabinet. These decorative file boxes fit the bill perfectly: they provide much more flexibility use- and space-wise, and they're much more aesthetically pleasing than a metal file cabinet.I'm especially glad I read reviews before purchasing. I was originally looking at less costly versions but learned that many of them didn't have the inner metal rails for the hooks of the hanging files, and that the files would often fall off the edges of the box or catch on the fabric. I also learned that the lids of other boxes would not accommodate file tabs. None of that is an issue with these boxes: the hanging files slide perfectly along the inside rails, which just pop on the sides, and there's plenty of vertical space to accommodate tabs even when the lid is on. My only very slight criticism would be that one of the lids is harder to pop on than the other one.In summary, if I could go back in time and purchase these boxes in the beginning, I would. And I'd purchase two sets: 2-3 for our files and then the extra(s) for storing other items.

I have this wonderfully sturdy box filled with files and the lid fits perfectly. Some reviews state that the lid is too big--NOT if you bought this item for a good number of files! Why buy a box simply for a few files anyway? The hand inserts on each side of this file box also are well made, which makes it easy to carry the box. The price is worth it because it also includes a lot of of hanging files that fit perfectly inside. I'm really happy that I bought another one of these file boxes for my husband to use.

It’s a pretty good box, great size. It’s perfect for what I need right now. I had a folder and other stuff in a brown box, decided it was finally time to upgrade lol. I do wish it was a bit more sturdy, but I’m not too picky on that. It’s great for now, I hope it lasts a while

There is nothing to dislike. Smart design let you keep personal or business files in neat order.

Liked the sturdiness and aesthetic but its too expensive and the lid wont fit easily die to the protruding metal bars if you want to use it width way for storing A4 files which is supposed to be its function!, so the lid is permenantly balanced on it instead- sort out the design this is a huge flaw!
