Excellent Product
Having done a lot of house restoration work over the years, I've found this particular Thistle Plaster to be the perfect filler. For example, if you've knocked out a channel for an electrical cable or there are big chunks of plaster missing, this is superb. It's a good workable texture that doesn't sag when applied in thick layers, unlike a lot of filler products (I have tried many). I generally do a rough fill with this then finish with Polycell Ready Mixed Skim. It doesn't have a weird elastic feel to it when dry, like a lot of filler products do. Just be sure to mist the area you are filling with water so it doesn't dry out too quickly.
