The keycap came with instructions, and even though it wasn't exactly clear how to remove the old one, after watching a YouTube video, the replacement went smoothly. It works as it should, happy with the result.

It was taped to a piece of paper and when I tried to get it off it snapped in half.

Too small....Returned for an appropriate size
The replacement F6 key was too small for my MacBook Pro. It looks like it may work for a MacAir. Returned the replacement for the appropriate size or refund. Awaiting response from seller. Sent two previous emails without response, which is why submitting review. Hoping for a response. Thank you.
