This is possibly a Marmite kind of taste (figuratively, not literally) because although both my partner and I like raspberry flavoured stuff, I love this and he really can't get past the initial mixed taste when it first hits your taste buds before the stronger raspberry flavour takes over. But chilled from the fridge I thought they were lovely! LOTS OF GOODNESS IN THEM TOO BUT AT A COST. There’s a steviol sweetness to it, but nothing too crisp, and the raspberry flavour is fairly rich. The colour, which seems to have mainly been derived from carrot and beetroot, is pale, and at push I might describe the flavour as pale too. It’s a refreshing Summer spritzer that doesn’t have much kick. It’s a really good choice if you want the refreshing side of a cola, without the sugar hit, but some people will find it bland. It’s not a million miles away from a raspberry iced tea, but it is certainly a level above a standard Lipton kind of iced tea.Like a tonic water, it seems to make more sense when used as a mixer. That’s when it comes into its own. When added to a bit of gin, to me the alcohol and bite of the booze fills in the bits that the soft drink lacks. I got the Raspberry flavour in a pack of 12 (each containing 250ml).The flavour is quite different to anything I'd had before and yet I found it quite delicious. It is sort of like a juice but it has a distinct flavour to it which, in a weird way, reminds me of actimel. If you're just looking for a tasty sparkling drink, there are others that I would choose over this. If you're looking for a healthy Kombucha drink that tastes really nice but not too sweet, I would recommend \"No. 1 Living Kombucha\" instead, as it's not so sweet and works out significantly better value than this.Overall then, this is nice enough Kombucha but I prefer alternatives that are not so sweet and better value for money.
