Very Functional, Great For Hiking From The Car To The Lake
Used this over the weekend to hike up to a couple of alpine lakes. You can judiciously pack a lot of gear in this bag. It would be made better if it had a waist belt. It comes with a few extra straps, one of which can be used as a waist belt, but it had no buckle and requires someone else to connect it behind your back. A minor concern as the benefits outweigh this one drawback.

Threads are coming apart
Got this for my son's 13th birthday. He's used a few times for fishing and he noticed right away some of the threading coming apart. It's not big but not overly small. Smaller then a standard bookbag which would of done the job. Definitely could be made better. I wouldn't consider this value for money
