I just HAD to write a review!
**UPDATE IN NOV. 2022: They're still alive, and they're still killing it! So to all those saying theirs didn't last a year, I'm pretty confused. That is not my case. I have yet to have a single problem with this speaker set.I was stunned when I turned this guy on and cranked up the volume. I bought an Insignia Soundbar, a SOUNDBAR, that was twice the price of this speaker system and it was horrible. I have never heard of Edifier, much like other reviewers, but I must tell you that this system is a fantastic value and sounds loud, deep, and very clear. The build quality is solid, wires are plenty long enough, and ...while I would like the ability to dim or shut off the glow around the volume knob, the idea of the volume knob is a nice touch. It also increases/decreases the volume at a nice smooth rate, rather than by a 2% jump like some other speakers.Seriously, I don't really write many reviews on items I buy on Amazon, but when I heard these speakers, from an unheard of brand, I was blown away and knew I HAD to post something here. I have punished these things and cranked the the volume on so many songs for hours on end and they take it like it's nothing. If you are still debating whether or not this product is trustworthy, stop. It is worth every cent.To the people who say that "my OEM speaker system is better"...... do you even have the thing plugged in?I hear no clipping, no distortion, sound is crisp, deep, rich, and clear, the price is great, build quality is solid and stylish.... my only question to you if you're still reading this is, what are you waiting for? Hit that purchase button! You won't be disappointed!

Stopped working after 2 miniutes of low volume use.
Not much to review. Connected speaker system up, turned it on and was impressed with the sound quality. After two minutes of low volume use, the right channel crackled and went dead. Verified sub woofer not outputting on right side. Now sound quality is poor. Will be asking for a replacement and will change review based on replacement unit.Updated Review:The company quickly responded and took care of my faulty equipment with no hassle. Now I will re-review the item.Pros:-Sleek design - speakers do not look like speakers-Nice deep sound from base despite being smaller than some others-Separate volume knob is handy-Good clear sound for the price point-easy plug in set up-Prompt no hassle service with replacementCons:- I feel you might get a more robust sound from the speakers in a more traditional design with larger diaphragms. These are tiny. - 1/2 star- First unit shipped was faulty. Possible quality control problems. only time will tell how long it lasts. - 1/2 starOver all i feel it is a good sounding speaker system for the price point with deep base and would purchase again.4 stars

Edifier M3200: The Best 2.1 Sound Available from a Speaker Set
I've had very limited success with any set of speakers I've owned. I'm a huge audiophile and am very picky about every single thing I hear. I've gone as far as to import a pair of Audio-Technica headphones from Japan to use alongside a mid-end FiiO headphone amp from China. Recently, I've been looking for a set of speakers to upgrade from my Altec Lansing BX3 set, which I lucked into at a thrift store not that long ago. They work tremendously, but don't have the full range of sound I'm looking for.I see so many reviews for Logitech and I see so many people raving about how great they are. I have a friend who owns a set of Logitech 2.1 speakers and they have no end of problems with volume fading, sound quality issues and bass fatigue. Another friend of mine who owned Logitech 5.1 speakers years ago had the same problems. Furthermore, many other communities--particularly those with people who look for high-quality audio--have people constantly saying how terrible Logitech was.I happened upon Edifier, another new Chinese brand, while looking at reviews in the Head-Fi community. They reviewed a much more expensive model, but upon doing a great deal of research, I discovered that the M3200 set would be the best value for my budget. The reviews were mixed, but most people seemed happy enough with their set and had the same successes listed that I decided to give them a go.These speakers are very similar to my friend's high-end Logitech 2.1 set that I mentioned above. However, there is absolutely no comparison when it comes to sound! These completely trounce any high-end Logitech 2.1 speakers I've ever heard. There is no issue with volume fading and there is no bass fatigue whatsoever! I can turn the dials to any position I fancy and they will immediately respond precisely as I want them to. The subwoofer is a powerhouse that thumps and punches precisely when it needs to without becoming totally overpowered and the satellites produce the highs and mids that you'd expect to pay three times the price to hear. I took them to my friend's house so he could try them with his own systems and we ended up spending the next five hours just listening to music and grinning from ear to ear. Also, how can you argue with three separate inputs? This speaker allows me to use my phone, computer and television with my speakers all at once without splitters or the need to disconnect and reconnect cables! The inputs are all 3.5mm, but it's easy enough to find adapters to convert other formats to 3.5mm.In conclusion, you can't get anything better than these 2.1 speakers outside of setting yourself up with a component set (receiver, satellites, subwoofer and the equipment that goes along to set it all up). I've used so many speaker sets in my life and can safely say that if you're going to get any speaker set, the Edifier M3200 is the speaker set to get.
