This stuff really works! Just pour it on your toothbrush or directly on your teeth and watch the whitening magic happen! It's non-abrasive and in a matter of minutes after application, I notice a discernible difference. The little bottle goes a long way, approximately a month if you use it intermittently as needed. It also helps eliminate food particles and other debris that tends to get stuck between teeth. You can taste the baking soda and feel it in action as it effectively and safely cleans in a manner that regular toothpaste can't quite do.The bottle is convenient and small enough to stash away in a purse or briefcase if a quick oral revitalization is needed before a meeting or as part of a regular hygienic routine. I've been using the Eco-Dent for a while and it has not caused any deleterious effects on my teeth or gums. Normally, my teeth whitening routine would include Crest 3D Whitestrips but with recent struggles in the finance department (I'm a poor college student), I had to be economical. Thus, the arrival of Eco-Dent.I have never tried powdered toothpaste before but also had no qualms for trying it. It's actually pretty fun and, I feel, a tad bit easier than the conventional squishy toothpaste tube.The bottle itself is very small and comes with a flip cap, which I like. It takes a bit to get used to pouring the powder onto the toothbrush, but unless you have extremely fidgety hands, the process is simple. The toothpaste itself tastes fine; there is a minty additive which ensures that your breath won't be stinky but it's not overwhelming, so as someone said in the previous reviews, you CAN drink orange juice afterwards A-OK. It also is mild on the burn factor, so no Listerine tears.My teeth overall feel clean, as they should, and I feel the powder gives my teeth extra shine!To me, the most important aspect of this product, though, was the whitening feature it promised and to be fair, my teeth have never been too stained, as I whitened them yearly. But I honestly feel that this product has given them that extra boost that I desire - while it will not be a miracle product that will instantly lift the most stained of teeth, it will do a bit and remember, prevention is key!Simply brush for 3 weeks, twice daily and voila. You can probably continue using it, but I wanna save this to touch up for important events and such.Overall, cool product that would be good for travel. It's simple to use, tastes fine, and whitens a little.

For the last 6 months I have been flip floping between toothpaste & have started to notice the heath of my teeth was in danger ( potential cavities, plaque, bad breath, etc). I had been using a homemade tooth powder 6 months ago & had switched back to drugstore brands (BIG MISTAKE). I tried everything; changing my tooth brush, using different brands of tooth paste, using a "natural" toothpaste & NOTHING got rid of my problems.I bought this because my sister boasted how well it was cleaning her teeth & she'd only been using it for about a week so naturally, I had to order it. Let me start by saying I've only been using this product for three days (with brushing 2x a day) & the constant plaque buildup on the back of the lower front teeth is fading!! It's been three days & it's FADING!!! Take that Colgate!It's flipping amazing! My breath doesn't smell like Oscar the Grouch's feet in the morning! The inbetweens of my teeth aren't aching as much anymore (& yes I do floss, maybe not as often as I should but at least 3-4x a week) & my teeth look a slight shade whiter (remember it's only been 3 days).Overall, this is one of the best buys ever!The only con I have is I gag like a web star & a cucumber (use you imagination) when I use this to also clean my tongue. The taste of the baking soda doesn't agree with my tongue & it's gag city every time. This is a minor con considering all the pros (clean breath, diminishing plaque, slightly whiter teeth).Will try to update my review after a few weeks of use to better gauge how white my teeth have gotten & if all the plaque disappears :)This is an honest review, I paid full price for this.
