ConklinFastrack Canine Microbial Supplement for Dogs, 300gm

I have been giving this to my GSD puppy for six months now and the results are amazing. Our last GSD died of bloat and Fastrack was recommended by a neighbor who has a dog that has bloated twice. Her dog has been on Fastrack for a few years and has not bloated again so far. I was giving my dog yogurt with her meals but this supplement also has digestive enzymes which help create the proper environment in her stomach for digestion and absorption of the nutrients in her food. It's also cheaper in the long run than picking up a tub of Greek yogurt once a week. The 300gm size lasts about two and a half months. I give her Fastrack in the morning and Prozyme in the evening.The first couple of weeks on this supplement made my puppy' s stool a little soft but after the adjustment period, her stool is solid and she is very regular, very little gas and is overall healthy and happy.

I grew up showing livestock and started using the Fastrack probiotic in a tub every show we went to and anytime the animals were stomach sensitive. Love the brand and the results. Now I have a dog with a sensitive stomach and am so happy to find Fastrack specifically for him. It’s easy to add to his food, he eats it, and it’s definitely helped his digestion and stomach comfort. I will continue to buy and recommend.

I love this product!I originally discovered this when my beloved Blue dog was battling cancer and taking multiple supplements to keep him up and happy. This was prescribed by his holistic vet to help him digest everything he was consuming each day. It worked so well with him, that I began giving it to my younger dog as well.Helps keep regular bowels & prevents foul smell from varying diet. Dogs also have no issue (as they have with other supplements) eating the powder - I assume is tasteless and odorless, easily mixes in undetected even by my picky eater!Highly recommend!

Would definitely order Fastrack for canines and equines again. I notice less digestion issues with the dogs. Haven't used it long enough to give 5 stars.

I don't know what magic ingredient is in this stuff, but it saved my sanity! I have an 8 year old Shih Tzu who has had problems with diarrhea off and on for probably 4 years; I used to be able to trace it to something she had eaten that she shouldn't have; it would be a big deal; we would go to the vet, get drugs, go off food for a day, work back up to normal (after switching to chicken and rice cooked with broth for a few days). For a while, she was able to get back to normal, back to her regular wet-and-dry dog food, and things would be normal for several weeks before the next episode. Then it got to where she never could get back on her dog food. Finally, she had diarrhea even on the bland diet, even when I watched her 24-7 to make sure she never ate anything she shouldn't. The vet was tired of seeing her. No parasites showed up in her samples. X-rays showed nothing...so after researching it myself I thought maybe, having treated her with antibiotics, she might have a probiotics issue (though the vet scoffed at the idea). I was desperate, so I ordered this. I started giving her a quarter teaspoon at night, mixed with her rice. It was like magic. Now we have the opposite problem, so I am trying to find the happy medium, and maybe add a teaspoon of pumpkin to her food every other day; I've cut this down to an eighth teaspoon every other day (she's 14 pounds). I would love to get her back on her dog food some day, but just to get rid of the diarrhea is something I never thought would happen. And believe me, with a long-haired dog who sleeps in your bed, that's a BIG deal!! Please, don't ever stop making this stuff...

I buy this product for my dog who I have to cook chicken and brown rice for and I think it helps a lot to keep her pancreatic attacks to a minimum. It contains probiotics and pancreatic enzymes.10/3/2011 Update: Turns out my poodle from a standard mom and a toy dad has Atypical Addison's disease, not pancreatitis. Her symptoms looked like pancreatitis and the urgent care given is about the same for both. She still gets this supplement along with an herbal multivitamin and Tylan powder (prescribed) and prednisone (also prescribed) to keep her guts feeling and working well. Standard poodles seem to be more prone to Addison's,so keep that in mind if your poodle is having major digestive issues!

He doesnt have his own Amazon account so has be buy him stuff. He helicopter parents his dogs and he says this stuff is good and cheaper than the stuff he was buying for similar use.

This product has been very helpful for my French Bulldog who has a sensitive stomach. We used to give him lactobacillus about once every 10 days after which the gas would be terrible for 24 hours or so. Fastrack has eliminated the need for lactobacillus supplements and has limited the amount of gas. Be forewarned -- your dog may experience an increase in gas in the first day or two after starting Fastrack or any other probiotics. This is because the probiotics are working to get the digestive tract balanced. The gas is produced when the bad stuff is dying off. It will go away once the tract is in balance (a day or two). This size bottle lasted us almost a year for a 28 lb. dog.Note: it should be kept refrigerated.
