Just getting it installed today. My kitchen table has so many grooves in it that crumbs fall into, so it was finally time to add a protective layer to make cleaning easier.It definitely adds shine as you can see.Easy to install if you take it slowly. The surface underneath is not smooth and it is still going on well and staying on.At this point, I would definitely recommend. I’ll come back to edit if there are any long term issues with it.

If you want clear glossy this is not the item it is cloudy . The picture is a false representation of this item I purchased it because of the photos shown which was very clear and glossy . This is not what I received.
