Though not purchased here, I’ve owned an original dealer option upgrade of this wheel... and have purchased 3 replacements.I LOVE this wheel... from an aesthetics point of view it’s a sharp wheel... AND OEM.The problem - this design, for whatever reason, is SUPER susceptible to road damage. Rogue potholes are the bane of these wheels and they damage easily (and by damage I mean crack, internally) leaving them unusable after you visit the tire store to find out what’s wrong (they can’t remount the tire if the wheel has a crack in it).Aside from the fragility of these wheels, they’re quite wonderful - great design appearance, great color, in fact, I’ve been approached twice to see if I would “trade” with the person asking.My caution: If you order these wheels, understand my warning and consider - they’re fragile. If you already own a set, be careful and vigilant of road conditions - potholes greater than probably 2” depth, and cracks in the road measuring similar, can wipe these wheels out to the point of warpage or fracture. To add - I’d suggest not making it a practice to typically use the truck lane on highways (i.e. - the far right lane) and keep your tires, especially low profile types... aired properly.(Note: picture provided to show proof that I own the wheels that I’m writing a review about. This vehicle is my daily driver and I use it on California hwy roads... known to be not so well maintained as of recent. To add - this is NO way a reflection of the retailer involved in your transaction - these wheels are what they are, feagile. The OEM’s come with the VW center hub pendant moniker stating “VW”).
