Omni's Fall (The Meta Superhero Novel Series: Book #4)

I have really enjoyed this series and am holding off buying the latest one so that I can have time to enjoy it later. I like the character, the dialogue and the plot. But one thing bothers me. Often we get a major revelation or a significant point and....nothing on the next page is it almost as if the build-up was nothing. For instance, the lead character is told not to leave the grounds of the covert school, but does, repeatedly. But there is no real follow up or consequences. That is a minor issue, I like the way that the books are building their own mythos and linking things in later books to prior ones. Sometimes the climax seems over too soon or too easily, but that might be a fault of the genre and that it's probably aimed at teens rather than adults.

Another great story. The change of direction that points you towards the next book is very well done. I look forward to the next instalment. Hopefully it's not too long of a wait.

Tom has done it again, keeping the story fresh with new challenges and obstacles more dire and intricate than ever before. Give me more!!
