Loud bargain, Low price
Nice loud train horn with compact compressor that can be stuffed into pretty small spaces. Did an review earlier, but couldn't find it to update, so doing a whole new one now. Got it all installed, depending on where you place yours, it can be a pretty simple imstal. I placed mine in a more inconspicuous spot, air compressor behind head light assembly and horn just behind the front bumper on a 05 Ford F150XLT supercab, so took a little more wrenching, as I made my own mounting brackets for horns and compressor. Check everything before installing, all air fittings to make sure they are tight and don't leak, assembly line packaging! Had to tighten everything from compressor to tank, compression nut fittings on lines were all loose. Also, the hose adapter to go into the solenoid, don't know how they expect you to get the lie onto that, especially if you upgrade the air hose (highly recommended) to a poly line used for high compression air, instead of the flimsy fish aquarium hose. Will need to get a compression line fitting that will screw into the solenoid, ¼ line compression fitting with ⅛ threaded male end to screw into the solenoid. Everything is tight, holds air without any leak-down, and definitely gets the stupid's attention on the road. So an update to this review, the drain plug installed on the air tank must have been welded into place, used a heavy duty impact gun trying to break it loose, just rounded off the bolt. So before installing, you may want to crack it loose and install a petcock valve instead. Okay, so update to my review. The horn assembly is good, the air compressor is crisp. Came apart, thanks to piss poor assembly line production. Pump rod came apart from motor shaft counter balance, and then broke part of the aluminum housing in the process, so now no air compressor. If you purchase this item, do yourself a huge favor and go through the assembly and loctite all bolts and screws, and check for tightness.

Decent product for a decent price
Great price and has a good sound. The sound is loud and gets your attention without being obnoxious like some other train horns.Compressor is decent and holds a good amount of pressure considering it’s size and was packaged well. Instructions could be a little better but we managed to successfully install it once we got the right connectors and fuses. Would suggest buying more wire as what’s supplied isn’t quite enough but I guess that also depends on where you install the compressor. Horn’s themselves are decent, a few minor cosmetic issues but nothing that hindered the sound. Placement under the hood was a little tricky as there weren’t a ton of options in our 2019 Chevy so we had to redesign the bracket a bit!Overall it’s a good product for the price and made my husband happy... so that’s all the matters... the neighbors may feel differently.

Stopped working after one blow!
The solenoid that allows the air to flow broke after one toot! Piece of garbage! I bought a new solenoid and then it did one root and now you hear air rushing in but the horns are not making a sound. The pump works fine but the horn setup is complete trash! The tube you sent me is too small for the barb and thus is not big enough for the appropriate air flow! I hope the company reads this and sends me a new set of horns as they were broken out of the box! I missed my return time frame but just wanted to return the horn set and there was zero way of contacting the customer service of their company. I am so disappointed!

Quality is what I expected
The Compressor was well packed, the Horns not so much. Inspecting several small dents in the horns, I discovered they were basically made out of very thin (super-soft) material possibly even copper then chromed with the thinnest layer of chrome I've ever seen. Please don't buy this item if your relying on the bling factor, you will be disappointed. All I care about is the sound level coming out of the grill, definitely not the nano layer of chrome if you can call it that. I upgraded the supplied clear nylon fish aquarium tubing to 3/8" nylon tubing and right angle shark bite fittings, not to say the 1/8" stuff wouldn't work, I had my reasons. Overall it's what I expected for the price. Installed the horn this last weekend, I recommend per-test the unit before you install, much easier to address any issues. Install was as expected, I ended up spending more time fixing factory wiring mistakes on my RV than what it took to install the horns but that's another story. Super loud, good tone, not as loud as a real Train but a good attempt at sounding like one. I feel I can hold my own in a turn circle now, at least from people that don't know how to use them. I would recommend.

Can you hear me now?
I didnt know what to expect for the price but let me tell you lol this thing is loud. Well worth the money. I did change a few things. I used 3/8 fuel line and put the tank in my tool box in the rear of the truck and the horns up front behind the grill. This i s loud enough you can put the horns underneath the bed if you want. The wires they give you are very short and there is no horn button and no relay. A relay is not a necessity but i highly recommend it, It does come with one 20a inline fuse/and mounting hardware. so i had to put an extra 80:00 in the extras to get to mount how i wanted and the location. Still well worth the money and smiles.

sound isnt bad but....
If you dont connect to your existing horn you will need an extra line and fuse for a horn button. but the horns sound pretty good. only issue is my son and i both bought one couple weeks apart and both of our compressor motors have quit. they are cheap and last about two months.

Purchased last years. Hook up this year and does t work.
I purchased this last year. I hooked it up this year. It worked for about a month and then I heard the compressor make a weird noise and then stop working. Total time it works was about 30 days. Can’t contact seller for a refund or even get parts for this unit. Garbage. Find a reliable source.
