After you get your batter in the pan, pick it up a few inches off the counter and let it drop back down several times. This gets rid of air bubbles and helps the batter get all the way down into the pattern. I wasn't all that impressed with the recipe that came with the pan, but found a fantastic recipe online that bakes perfectly in this 10 cup pan. Google "Honey Cake with Almonds ~ Baked in a Honeycomb Pan" and it should be the first result. The recipe calls for toasted almond flour, whole wheat flour, honey, lemon zest and nutmeg, and we LOVED it. Drizzle the honey syrup over it, and you've got a gorgeous cake. Five stars.
