Very Impressed
I purchased Cue as a birthday present for my 6 year old. He has been playing with programming apps for about a year now. Cue was very easy to set up and within 5 minutes of getting it up and running, my son was already programming and interacting with the robot. I chose Cue instead of Dash because the hardware is more robust, and because of the Python API feature. We'll play with that functionality over the weekend. I truly value having great out-of-the-box functionality, with the flexibility of customization that an API offers.

Great for kids to teach different kinds of coding and inspiring creativity
My daughter plays with it so much! I love that she is learning different types of coding. She also has to get creative thinking of things she wants it to do. There is a lot of flexibility. And she is having lots of educational fun!

Tech that fails at tech. I don't recommend.
I don't normally write reviews, but given the price of this, I don't want parents to be surprised. I bought both the Cue (for my 11yr old) and a dash (for my 7yr old). The Cue app isn't supported by my daughter's Chromebook. Given that this product is advertised toward kids 11+ and schools, many of which use Chromebooks, it is ridiculous that Chromebooks are not supported. For the dash, they want you to install five apps, which is annoying. However, only four of the five are on Google play. The fifth app (Wonder) is available on the Amazon App store (I discover that from a YouTube video of someone who was using an Amazon tablet). So I needed to install Amazon App Store, log in on my account, give access thru the parent approve app we use to install an app that should have been in the Google Play store. For a company that makes tech, they have failed at tech. I will say when we did having things working they worked okay and it seemed promising. But the level of effort to even get these robots working is too much. And in the case on my daughter's chrome it just didn't work. For reference I am an engineer and spend my days writing code and playing in Excel. I have reached out the the company and will update this review if they provide any useful information.

Wouldn't Recommend
We purchased the Dot and Dash Wonder Workshop and love it so we thought this would be a great addition. You cannot use the xylophone or launcher on it. The coding you will learn on this is not much different than dot and dash. I do not recommend this but definitely the dot and dash wonder workshop.

Great for Kids Coding
Got this for my daughter so she could play with her coding when she got home. She was showing us all kind of neat tricks with it. Perfect gift for kids under 12 that are doing code work.
