Easy to install & works great!
I bought this to replace a failed O2 sensor on a 1999 Ford Ranger. Once I got the old one removed, the complete installation time for this is under 5 minutes. Some tips :1. Engine warm or cold ONLY! The exhaust system is extremely hot & you WILL burn yourself if you do not wait until it has had adequate time to cool down after driving it.2. Spray LIBERALLY the old O2 sensor (not wires) with PB Blaster or some kind of penetrating oil. After soaking it, walk away....come back in 30 minutes. This will give the pentrating oil enough time to break down some of the rust. Keep in mind that this is basically installed in one of the hottest parts of your car. At those temps, bare metal/heat/rust will eventually fuse the pipe & O2 sensor together.3. Use either a) Oxygen Sensor sockets OR b) crows feet line wrenches. If you try and remove this with a regular wrench, you will round the provided bolt off of it.4. Use an O2 sensor thread chaser on the exhaust pipe hole once the old sensor has been removed in order to "clean up" the threads.5. Put SOME (NOT ALL) of the included copper anti-seize lubricant onto the threads (ONLY!!) of the new O2 sensor & install it by hand until it stops, THEN use the O2 sensor socket to tighten completely.6. Before you plug the O2 sensor into the vehicles wiring harness, ensure that the wiring is NOT touching any part of the exhaust, manifold, or catalytic converter. If the wire touches ANY of those parts, it will be destroyed by the extreme heat & you will be doing this all over again.7. After starting the vehicle, you MUST use an OBD-II scanner to clear the DTC codes. Even though your check engine light may not be on, the codes are still stored in the car's computer, and it will think that there is still a problem with the new O2 sensor. You can go to almost any nationwide chain autoparts store & they will do this for FREE!! DO NOT go to a dealer or mechanic garage to have this done....they will rip you off & charge $50-$100 to do the same thing.Good luck!Woodstockva

Good product.
Still on the car 5 years later. I suggest buying both the upstream and downstream sensors, as the older will fail soon after you install the new one.

Work Excellent!
I replaced the two o2 sensors on my 1995 Ford Explorer purely for preventative maintenance at 71,000 miles, and let me tell you what a difference they made in overall performance! I had no check engine light prior to replacing the sensors, and afterwards my engine was way more responsive and I am consistently getting 2+ mpg better over about 5 tanks of gas. These were well worth the investment!

Didn’t last 6 months
Installed in my 2011 Ford Ranger and all was great until my light came on 6 months later…. Took it to get it scanned and again it’s the bank2 downstream sensor. What a waste of money and time. I purchase a different popular brand from NKT and so far so good…time will tell.
