Gary Unmarried: Season 1

This show is so damn funny and CBS was so dumb to let this go!!!

I would've never started watching this if I was in the U.S. when I first saw it. I would've never caught my attention. Since I was deployed to Iraq, there were limited shows that came on TV and this was one of them. I watched it because the other shows were shows that were over 10 years old and I've pretty much seen them all. And I must say, it is a VERY good and entertaining show. I was truly impressed with it. It was the first show/series that I looked for on DVD when I returned from deployment. Needless to say, I was disappointed because it wasn't out on DVD. Now that it is (soon), I will be one of the first to get it. This is a must buy and a great adult show. Side note: Many kids under 13 may not get some of the jokes, but it's not really geared towards that audience.A+Semper Fidelis!

Very funny sitcom, truly surprised me. The writing is wonderful & the actors are perfect. I bought this for only one reason - Paula Marshall: A supremely talented actress & (in my opinion) the most beautiful woman who ever lived. I honestly didn't expect to particularly enjoy the show, but I was really surprised at how funny & well-made it was. Haven't seen a sitcom this good in a long, long time. And then, of course, there's Ms. Marshall; not only is she stunningly lovely, but she is also an excellent actress. Her portrayal of being drunk was brilliant & hilarious - best I've ever seen - she should have gotten an Emmy nomination just for that scene.

I wish that they had given this show more time to thrive, but that wasn't the case. A great DVD for memory since it wasn't on long enough for syndication. A great buy for anyone who is a fan of the show.The show stars Jay Mohr and follows him around after a divorce from his wife. They have two kids and have a funny relationship with each other. Great laughs and a good time.

I watched this series when it was on TV. I don't understand why it was cancelled unless it was because it made the ex kind of a not nice person and the guy was still in love with her to some extent. I found it humorous except for Rob Riggles character. He was just too over the top for my taste.

Gary Unmarried is a brilliant show. It's very funny and the acting is first class. I can't believe this show was cancelled after 2 seasons. Amazon, please release season 2 on DVD as we fans have waited long enough!

I am glad I got it because I was laughing as I watched it. I used to watch it while it was on the air and loved it

why was it only on for two seasons???i think this was one of the best shows on tv that didn't go further, and how come i had to buy season two online through hulu?why are they not available on disc?
