Can these jars be used for canning, in a hot water bath

well, found my answer is a big fat NO: Can I use one piece canning lids for home canning? (A:) No. One piece screw type canning lids are not designed or approved for home canning use. This type of lid is used in food processing as a hot-fill-hold process under very strict time and temperature controls.

Can you reuse the lids for canning, or do you have to replace them each time?

I water-bath canned with them and I can’t tell if the lids sealed at all. They don’t pop in or out. Everyone I give my jam too, I tell them to keep it refrigerated just in case.

Are the lables waterproof if you are using as spice jars? I need to wipe them with a damp cloth.

Hi, the labels are waterproof, but we don't recommend that you expose them to water very often, for they are made of paper after all

Can you use these for candles?

Yes. That’s what I bought them for but am now weighing if it was a smart move because of the cost. Am also thinking of using them for a sugar scrub.
